Kembla Grange Racing Tips: Saturday, November 23rd 2024
Race 4: Carlton Dry 3.5 BM78 – 1200m - 2:20pm (AEDT)
(1) Ningaloo Star $16/$4.00: 5YO Mare who had a little freshen up and then attempted to tackle BM84 grade on return where she was only 3L away. Fitter again now and has opted to run here instead of in QLD. Looks a blow out hope and I’m happy to have a small each way go.
(3) Infatuation $5.00: 4YO mare who was supported in this grade when resuming and she tired late. Suggest she was lacking some fitness there. Remains at this class and rises to 1200m. Looks to only improve.
(6) Wooloowin $3.70: This 4YO mare has showed some promising signs early on with 3 wins and a third from the 4 career starts. Mitchell BELL remains on top who is unbeaten when onboard. Draws well and deserves to be favourite, but this is tougher again.
(1) Ningaloo Star E/W
$16/$4.00 (1 Unit)
Race 5: Food Services BM78 – 2000m - 2:55pm (AEDT)
(2) Naval Commission $15.00/$3.60: 5YO Gelding who hasn’t been all that disgraced. Gets in okay here and looks an each way chance.
(4) Alacance $4.00: 5YO Grey who we tipped on debut in Aus and it was a rather easy watch winning by almost 4L in BM72 grade over 2100m. She has since trialled again twice and its almost 2 months since that first up win. She draws a sticky gate, but id expect her to try settle up on the speed if she can get across which should allow her to dictate to her liking. Tim Clark jumps into the saddle and you wouldn’t want anyone else as a front runner. Hard to look past.
(7) Modesty $9.50: 5YO gelding who was very impressive winning last start over 1800m. Looks suited again out to 2000m now. Remains at BM78 class and will only be fitter third up. Value.
(4) Alacance
$4.00 (1.5 Units)
Race 8: The Illawarra Mercury Gong – 1600m - 4:45pm (AEDT)
(1) Gringotts $6.00/$2.30: This 5YO gelding has only missed the minor placings on one occasion from 16 career starts and boasts 8 career wins with being unbeaten over the mile. Id be happy to have my hard earnt on with the each way price. Fourth up, so expect him to be rock hard fit. Will need some luck from the wide draw is all.
(3) Territory Express $6.00/$2.30: This fella has a sensational turn of foot, but has just been leaving it a little too late and requires too much luck during his runs. If he gets a perfect run, then he’ll be hard to beat.
(7) Griff $101/$17: 4YO who is a ridiculous price here. I appreciate he has been far from his best this prep, but he hasn’t had the best of luck. Back to the mile now where he is 2 from 2 and gets a decent alley which should have him on the speed where he needs to be. Blow out hope.
Also Backing: (7) Griff E/W $101/$17 (0.5 Units)
(1) Gringotts E/W
$6.00/$2.30 (1 Unit)
