After a good fill up on Saturday, let's hope it continues as we bring you our best bets below!

Sandown Racing Tips: Wednesday, February 26th 2025
Race 2: Evergreen Turf Handicap - 4:15pm (AEDT)
(1) Zorro’s Flight for the in-form Payne stable gets the nod here after he led and was beaten a nose at Flemington in his last run before a freshen up. Before that one he sat 2nd and scored for Tom Prebble who rides gain and he will take the gelding forward here with the 3kg claim. A Dry tracks suits again and the short spell will have kept him fresh enough.
(2) Railway Man come from off the speed to score on a Good track at Warwick Farm and if they go quick out in front it looks like he will get the run of the race. Rises in distance slightly which may be a slight query.
(4) Rapid Cheval is resuming here and she will find this race a lot easier than the Group 1 Wakeful where she was unlucky. The others may be fitter though at this point in time.
(1) Zorro’s Flight WIN
$2.70 (1 Unit)
Race 4: Sportsbet Feed Handicap - 5:25pm (AEDT)
(9) Summer Flame has drawn wide here but she had a wide barrier two starts back at Mornington and she won that race well. She is an on speed runner and will come over and as long as the others don’t make her work too hard, she should be in this for a long way. A Good track suits and she was only beaten a nose just over the road at Lakeside last start.
(5) Kalkallo is second up and ran 2nd last time when in the same stage of his prep. He is proven over the distance and if they go hard early, he will be the one who will be strong late.
(1) Namesake was 6th last start at The Valley but only beaten 2L in a stronger race than this. Is second up here so will be fitter but being the top weight is a slight worry.
(9) Summer Flame WIN
$3.20 (1 Unit)
Race 7: Tile Importer Handicap - 7pm (AEDT)
(5) Matawai has drawn well in 2 and should get the run of the race. She usually sits around 4th in the run and he should do so again here for Blake Shinn. She has won 3 races on Good tracks and remaining at 1400m again looks suitable after she got there for the W at Pakenham on February 13. She has had three second up runs and they were all poor which is a slight concern so we might go Each-Way here.
(6) Paradise City likes Dry tracks and she ran well when leading all of the way at Seymour last start. This is harder but if she settles handy again and they go slow, she should be in the top 3 again.
(2) Lady Di Di drops in class here and her last midweek effort (Lakeside) was a good one when 4th but only beaten a half a length. Before that she won a jumpout and she has more fitness now and is good odds.
(5) Matawai WIN
$2.80 (1 Unit)
