Rosehill Racing Tips: Saturday July 22nd 2023
Race 4: Bm78 – 2400m (13:00 AEST)
(1) Manbehindthemoney is progressing nicely this prep and looks extremely well placed to progress to 2400m this weekend and continue his run of prolific winning. Zac Lloyd is one of the top riders in the city at the moment and can get this one across the line.
(4) Wahine Toa is in good form as well and will take barrier 1 well. Should be able to save his energy for late in the piece and could be hard to hold out.
(2) Kirkby worked home well behind the favourite last start over a shorter trip. Up to 2400m he may be able to close the distance slightly but looks unlikely to turn the tables.
(1) Manbehindthemoney win
$2.40 (2 units)
Race 6: F&M Bm78 – 1200m (14:10 AEST)
(9) Petulant is capable of winning here having been held up somewhat last start. She looks like she’ll lead or settle right on speed from the good draw which will help with the rail out 7m.
(2) Waverider Buoy won last start and has deserved that win. She can go on with it but will have to overcome the horrible barrier.
(8) Tashi is also drawn wide so may struggle to win but is some sort of threat if she can overcome the draw and settle in a good position.
(9) Petulant e/w
$10/$3.1 (1 unit)
Race 7: 3yo Bm72 – 1500m (14:45 AEST)
(2) Chorlton Lane is an imported 3yo so has a distinct advantage of being older than his rivals. He won nicely on local debut and looks capable of going on with it.
(5) Amor Victorious is an elite racehorse and will be winning plenty of races. He’s drawn wide this time and is yet to put it all together but can still outperform his current price.
(4) Noble Conqueror began awkwardly and was held up briefly last start. He was first up there, is drawn well here and should be able to put in a solid performance.
(2) Chorlton Lane win
$2.20 (2 units)
