A few promising and progressive runners are engaged in today's Sha Tin meeting which I'm keen on getting inviolved with. The card overall seems to lack depth and competition which opens the door for a few potential 'easy kills'. Interested to see how the day unfolds and wishing anyone luck who is having a go.
Sha Tin Racing Tips: Sunday March 26th
Race 1
(1) Classic Moon is lightly raced but showed good fight last time closing off strongly into 3rd from back in the field. He’s drawn well today and should be able to improve on his latest performance with a better run and added fitness.
(8) Sight Hero doesn’t boast a very convincing record at Sha Tin having never finished better than 3rd in 9 starts. That said, he’s capable of winning races and with Hugh Bowman on from gate 2 he gets a good chance today.
(7) Hong Kong Hall was poor on face value down the straight on debut. He was short there and respected by the market so although he’d need to improve to win this, it would appear the horse does have natural improvement to come.

Race 4
(1) WinwinThirtythree is well placed to win down in class 5 with Hugh Bowman taking the ride from gate 3. The main concern for this horse will be keeping clear of traffic late and getting enough time to wind up from behind the leaders. If he gets this he simply wins.
(11) Give Way Please will need to overcome a wide draw here to win which he wasn’t able to do last time where he worked hard around the outside of the field and was caught late by Fortune Master.
(7) Fortune Master has to go in if Give Way Please is in. The two finished side-by-side for 1st and 2nd last time and they look as though they may be battling it out again here albeit for 2nd place behind Winwin Thirtythree.

Race 6
(2) Owner’s Praise gets a 2nd chance to win after he had absolutely no chance last time buried back in the ruck with nowhere to go. Zac Purton steers from gate 1 and with any luck at all he should be winning.
(4) Eighteen Palms is the serial placegetter having placed in all 3 career starts to date. He may be doing the same thing here today behind Owner’s Praise.
(5) Thunderboltaurus has had better opportunities to win than today but I suspect we’re yet to see his best and if he does improve from recent performances he could surprise here.
