NBA Betting Tips: Tuesday March 21st 2023
Chicago Bulls at Philadelphia 76ers
Wells Fargo Center, 10am AEDT
A couple of Eastern Conference rivals will battle it out on Tuesday morning, with the Philadelphia 76ers playing hosts to the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls find themselves in a decent run of form having won four of their last five games, which is their equal best five-game stretch in the season to date. Still, they have a lot of work to do to become a factor in the post-season, as they currently occupy the 10th seed.
The 76ers enter Tuesday’s meeting on an equal season-high eight-game win streak. Impressively, six of those wins came on the road and they now get to return home where they have a very healthy 26-10 record on the season.
Although the Bulls have shown some signs of improvement over the past fortnight, they still have a long way to go to be on the level of the 76ers. I expect the home side to be too good again and win this relatively comfortably.

Minnesota Timberwolves at New York Knicks
Madison Square Garden, 10:30am AEDT
The Minnesota Timberwolves will be looking to find some elusive road success on Tuesday when they head to the Big Apple to take on the New York Knicks at MSG.
The Timberwolves have lost both of their games on their current road trip and are having to battle without star guard Anthony Edwards. He missed his first game of the season against the Raptors last start and his team lost comfortably (107-122).
Meanwhile, the Knicks have responded from their three-game losing streak at the beginning of March with three straight wins over the past week, two of which were on the road. The Knicks currently hold the fifth best road record in the league and remain a legitimate chance of finishing in the top four in the conference.
The Knicks are in by far the better form of the two and also have much healthier roster heading into this clash. All signs lead towards another win for the Knicks, and I expect them to get it done easily.

Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets
Toyota Center, 11am AEDT
Two teams with different ambitions will lock horns in our final betting game on Tuesday’s slate. The Houston Rockets will welcome the Golden State Warriors to the Toyota Center.
The Warriors just can’t seem to shake their road hoodoo and it’s really starting to get out of hand. They’ve now lost 11 straight games on the road to take their season record to 7-29, which is a mirror image of their home record (29-7).
In contrast, the Rockets have a bad record no matter where they play; the only difference is that’s exactly what everyone expects from such a young and inexperienced team at the start of a rebuild. In saying that, the Rockets have been in winning form of late, saluting in five of their last nine outings.
It doesn’t matter who the Warriors play on the road right now, they simply should not be 10-point favourites. Until they show they can actually win away from home, I’ll happily continue to oppose them.
