St Kilda vs Sydney Betting Tips
Marvel Stadium, Sunday 21st August, 4.40pm (AEST)
St Kilda
Injuries: Jack Billings, Nick Coffield, Jade Gresham, Jack Hayes, Paddy Ryder, Jimmy Webster (Out) Daniel McKenzie, Tom Highmore, Dan Hannebery, Josh Battle (Test)
It was a disappointing end to the season for the Saints on the weekend. After being arguably the better side throughout the final half of their game against the Lions, they failed to convert opportunities to ultimately go down by 15 points. Max King was the main culprit, kicking 0.5 in the loss, most of them from pretty easy angles.
If Dan Hannebery can pass a fitness test and get back into the side, the Saints will at least have something to play for as the former Sydney champion waves goodbye to the AFL with a game against his old side. Dan McKenzie is also listed as questionable to make his return to the side, but after so long out with injury, you'd have to doubt the Saints will risk him in what is essentially a dead rubber.
Sydney
Injuries: Lewis Melican, Sam Naismith, Colin O'Riordan, Marc Sheather, Josh Kennedy (Out)
The Swans are one of the form teams of the competition leading into the final round of the season, and they can lock up a place in the top two and the chance at a home qualifying and preliminary final with a win here. Not only are they one of the most in form, but they are arguably the least affected by injury at the moment, a great position to be in leading into the finals.
The Swans forward line has been firing on all cylinders of late, with the three pronged marking options in Franklin, Heeney and Reid all playing well while Tom Papley has ignited another element to their attack since returning from injury.
Match Predicion
The Swans start as 18.5 point favourites on the road, but I think that's just a touch too high at Marvel. I think they will play well and win, but I'm going to buy a few points on both the line and the total here as I think it could also be a high scoring game.
In the last 13 Saints-Swans matchups, a team has scored 100+ points in nine games. In perfect conditions with the Saints playing what will be a free-flowing game-style with nothing to lose, it should be high scoring.
Swans -6.5/Over 155.5 Points

Prop Bets
Steele/Sinclair/Marshall/Ross to record 100+ disposals combined. Ross had a standout game last week, recording 30+ touches. Steele was tagged out of the game by Mathieson and the quartet still combined for 90 touches. I think they can get over the line this week.

Like the odds for Sam Reid to kick 2+ goals again this week. Often the forgetten man in the Sydney forward line, he has booted 2+ goals in two of his last three games. The Saints might be a bit small down back this week with Josh Battle potentially out of the line-up, Reid should be the one to capatilise.
