Sydney vs GWS Betting Tips
SCG, Saturday 30th July, 2:10pm (AEST)
Sydney Swans
Injuries: Peter Ladhams, Sam Naismith, Colin O’Riordan, Marc Sheather
Sydney are blessed with a healthy list at the moment and only have four guys battling injuries. They’re a touch diminished at the ruck spot with Peter Ladhams and Sam Naismith unavailable, but other than that they can’t really complain.
The Swans are finding some of their best form at the key part of the season and enter this weekend on a three-match win streak. They took care of a listless Crows outfit last weekend by 33 points, which was a fine way to back up their strong win on the road against the Dockers. In fact, the Swans have had four wins against top 10 teams over the last two months and continue to rise up the ladder as a result. As it stands ahead of Round 20, the Swans are in sixth spot on the ladder and are only one win away from being in the top four.
GWS Giants
Injuries: Ryan Angwin, Jack Buckley, Finn Callaghan, Brent Daniels, Phil Davis, Matt De Boer, Josh Fahey, Matt Flynn, Bobby Hill, Connor Idun, Conor Stone
GWS always seems to have an extensive injury list and right now is no exception. They’re missing a couple of key personnel in Phil Davis, Matt De Boer and Brent Daniels, as well as a whole host of fringe players. As a result, the depth of this Giants outfit is really being tested.
The Giants tried hard but were no match for the superior Blues last weekend when going down by six goals on the road. They managed to kick just three goals after half time and that was a sign of the lack of threats they have up forward besides Toby Greene. Tom Green will come straight back into the seniors after being dropped last weekend and will look to make an immediate impact. He joins five other inclusions in what is a big shake-up at the selection table.
Match Prediction
After losing two of the last three matches against their rivals by under a goal, the Swans hit back at the Giants earlier this season with a strong 112-92 win. It was the first time in 12 tries that the Swans have scored triple figures against the Giants and it was also an indicator of where the two teams are at right now. The Swans are the far stronger and more consistent of the teams in Sydney and should be too strong in a competitive contest on Saturday afternoon.

Prop Bets
Isaac Heeney has had probably the most consistent season of his career and has been particularly good over the past five or six weeks. He’s racked up over 15 touches in each of his last three matches and should be good to do it again on Saturday.
Isaac Heeney 15+ Disposals ($1.73 at Ladbrokes)
Errol Gulden has had his goal kicking boots on over the last couple of weeks after a month or so of a drought. He remains fantastic value to kick at least one this weekend and is a decent shout for 2+ as well.
Errol Gulden Anytime Goal Scorer ($1.80 at Ladbrokes)
Harry Himmelberg’s move to defence has been a successful one to date and it’s seen him rack up a lot of touches. He’s had 25+ in five of his last seven and 30+ in three of them and is great value in the markets this weekend.
Harrison Himmelberg 25+ Disposals ($2.10 at Ladbrokes)
