Richmond vs Brisbane Betting Tips
MCG, Sunday 31st July, 3.20pm (AEST)
Richmond
Injuries: Samson Ryan, Dustin Martin (Out) Tom Lynch, Mate Colina, Ben Miller, Jack Ross (Test)
It'll be a busy week at the selection table for the Tigers as they cover for the retirement of Kane Lambert as well as the departure of Matt Parker. Tom Lynch will likely make a timely return to the line-up whiel Josh Gibcus will also return after missing one week with a shoulder niggle.
What a tough few weeks its been for the Tigers. They had a golden opportunity to cement a spot in the top eight with back to back games against bottom 10 sides in the Suns and Kangaroos. They lost both of those in thrilling finishes before multiple blunders in the final quarter saw their Round 19 clash against the Dockers finish in a draw.
The Tigers now sit two points outside of the eight but given the Western Bulldogs have a tough trip to Geelong this weekend, they could find themselves jumping one or more places if they can get back on the winners list on Sunday.
Brisbane
Injuries: Tom Berry, Carter Michael, Daniel Rich (Out) Keidean Coleman (Test)
The Lions are looking pretty good on the injury front at the moment. Coleman should be available for selection this week while Daniel Rich will likely be another week away.
Brisbane looked a little shaky at periods throughout their Round 19 clash against the Suns but a five goal to one final term helped them secure a 17 point win in the 2nd Q-Clash of the year. Lachie Neale was once again dominant in the midfield, racking up 32 touches while star forward Joe Daniher booted four goals in the win.
The Brisbane forward line seems to be finding some real form at the right time of year, with Daniher, Eric Hipwood and Dan McStay all settling into their place in the team after all of them have battled injuries at times throughout the year.
Match Prediction
Pretty tight in the betting market heading into this game with the Tigers opening at just 2.5 point favourites. It's do or die for the Tigers so I think they come out firing for this clash and with Tom Lynch back in the line-up, they will be much better equipped going forward.
I think this will be a close game that could go either way, particularly at the MCG, where these two teams haven't faced off since all the way back in 2019. I like this one to be pretty back and fourth throughout the contest, back the 'Any Other Result' in the W2W market.

If I had to side with one team here I'm probably leaning slightly towards the Lions. They have been the more in form side recently and should only continue to improve as they get more match fitness into their key forwards that have been hindered by injury. I like the value for them as underdogs here.
Lions H2H ($2.05 at Ladbrokes)
Really like the odds for Charlie Cameron to kick multiple goals in this game. He has booted 11 goals in his last four games including back to back outings of three goals in his last two. He has also kicked six goals in his last three against the Tigers.
