St Kilda vs North Melbourne Betting Tips
Marvel Stadium, Sunday 29th May 1:10pm (AEST)
St Kilda
Injuries: Nick Coffield (ACL), Dan Hannebery (Calf), Jack Hayes (Knee), Jack Higgins (H&S Protocols), Jack Steele (Shoulder)
The Saints continue to be without Jack Steele who will miss the next 5-7 weeks with a shoulder injury, while goal-sneak Jack Higgins will miss this weekend due to health and safety protocols.
The Saints have bounced back perfectly from a pair of losses against the Power and the Demons to win each of their last two matches. Most impressive was their comeback win over a contender in the Cats in Round 9, while last weekend’s win over the Crows was a professional one. The Saints have now improved to 7-3 on the season and have a chance to finish this round in the top four with a win on Sunday.
North Melbourne
Injuries: Miller Bergman (Shoulder), Aiden Bonar (Hamstring), Charlie Comben (Knee), Ben Cunnington (Illness), Eddie Ford (Ankle), Aaron Hall (Hamstring), Ben McKay (Knee), Will Philips (Illness), Jared Polec (Foot), Phoenix Spicer (Hamstring)
Injuries continue to pile up for the Kangaroos who are currently without a whole host of important players. Ben Cunnington, Aaron Hall and Ben McKay are the key names who continue to sit on the sidelines for different reasons.
The Kangaroos have not been up to AFL standard at all this season and the only win they have on the board was in Round 2 against a decimated Eagles outfit. They come into this match on an eight-game losing streak and have conceded 100+ points in seven of those defeats. What’s even more alarming for the Kangaroos is that they’re yet to score more than 75 points in a match this season, which is why they have a percentage of just 54.
Match Prediction
Along with the Eagles, the Kangaroos are the easy beats in the competition at the moment and the odds reflect that. They’ve lost each of their last six matches by at least 47 points and the line in this clash is set at 43.5. It’s safe to say, on their preferred deck at Marvel and in the fine form they’re in, I expect the Saints to be far too good for the Kangaroos and can only see this ending in a blowout win for the home side.

Prop Bets
There’s been plenty of opportunities for Kangaroos defenders to rack up touches this season due to the amount of inside 50’s they concede and I suspect that will continue this weekend. Bailey Scott has been finding plenty of it with 20+ in three of his last four games including 27 last weekend. I like him for 20+ again here.
Bailey Scott 20+ Disposals ($1.70 Ladbrokes)
If the match goes the way I think it will with the Saints dominating, then there will be opportunities for their forwards to fill their boots. Max King is by far their most constant three up forward and I can see him kicking a bag on Sunday.
Max King 4+ Goals ($2.80 Ladbrokes)
Another forward for the Saints that I think is good value for multiple goals in this clash is Cooper Sharman. He burst onto the scene late last season when kicking 10 goals from four games and while he’s only kicked two from two outings this campaign, he has the perfect opportunity to find some form this weekend.
Cooper Sharman 2+ Goals ($1.90 Ladbrokes)
