Western Bulldogs vs Gold Coast Betting Tips
Mars Stadium, Saturday 21st May, 1.45pm (AEST)
Western Bulldogs
Ins: Tim O'Brien
Out: Roarke Smith, Taylor Duryea
The Doggies have a pretty extensive injury list at the moment but will only make one change from their win over the Pies last week. They are still awaiting returns from Josh Bruce, Tim English, Toby McLean, Lachie Hunter, Cody Weightman and Mitch Wallis.
The Dogs were too good for the Pies on Friday night footy last week, recording a 48 point win on the back of strong performances from the whole midfield brigade as well as star forward Aaron Naughton, who booted three goals. The Dogs onballers had the footy on a string, with Bailey Smith (41), Jack Macrae (37), Adam Treloar (35), Caleb Daniel (34), Tom Liberatore (31) and Bailey Dale (29) all racking up monster numbers.
I don't think the Dogs midfield will have as easy of a time against the fiesty Suns this weekend, but there's no doubt that despite a slow start to the season, it is still the most talented midfield core in the league. They should begin a push towards the top four now that they are all back together.
Gold Coast
No Change
Apart from the obvious season ending injury to Max King, the Suns don't have a lot of long term concerns at the moment. Josh Corbett and Jack Lukosius remain on the sidelines, but should return within the next few weeks.
The Suns are absolutely flying at the moment. They entered their last two games as massive underdogs against the Swans and Dockers and came out victorious in both. They sit in 12th place on the ladder with a 4-5 record, but have already recorded impressive wins against the 3rd, 4th and 5th placed teams on the ladder.
Defence has been the catalyst of the Suns resurgence. They kept the Swans to just 61 points in their Round 8 win at the SCG before holding the Dockers to a season best 33 points at home in Round 9.
Match Prediction
This game absolutely screams unders to me. The weather conditions look okay in Ballarat on Saturday but in saying that, it's Ballarat, who knows what mother nature could throw up on the day.
The Suns defence has been fantastic of late and the Dogs have been no slouches on the defensive end either. In their last five games, the Western Bulldogs have allowed just 68.4 points per game.
In their only game at Mars Stadium this year, the Dogs combined with the Crows for just 125 points in sunny Ballarat conditions.

Pick your poison with the Bulldogs 30+ disposal getters this weekend. All are capable of racking up big numbers, so it's really a matter of finding the best value. At $2.99, I think Adam Treloar represents the best value this week. Has had 30+ two times this year including last week. Take Treloar for 25+ in your same game multis as a great anchor leg.

As I mentioned above, I think this will be a low scoring game. Two goals could be enough to lead all players on the field, and three should certainly get teh job done. I'm not sold on taking any individual players to kick 2 or 3+ but I do like Aaron Naughton to top the field.
