Another Wednesday means some good midweek racing to get us through the week. There’s meetings at Sandown and Warwick Farm where we can hopefully find a few winners. Billy Bestford has had a look across the meetings and has found his best bets for the day.

Today's Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 11th
Warwick Farm R1
(1) Political Debate ran 2nd on debut to a handy horse in Resonator who has since come out and won a good race last Saturday. More experienced following that effort and expecting Jmac to get everything out of him today. Small field means he can put himself up on speed and be tough to run down.

Sandown R1
(3) Russian Mint looks to be speedy and draws low here today. Has won two jumpouts leading into debut today and I think he could be pretty smart. Expect he can land prominent in the run and will be tough to get past. This looks a hot maiden but this horse has a heap of upside and I like how he maps.
Warwick Farm R2
(5) Democracy Manifest was impressive winning fresh having first start for the Waller stable. I like him rising to 1300m now and clearly he will handle the conditions today. From barrier 3 he maps to get a good run and can continue to progress.

Hard to knock (5) Stay In Touch who has hardly put a foot wrong in five career starts, winning four and running 2nd in the other. Puts herself up near the speed and shows good fight in the straight every time. One comfortably in this grade last time out and gets a good apprentice claim to offset the big weight. Goes close again.
Sandown R8
(10) Visinari was visually dominant having first start for new stable, romping in by 7.5L. That backed up some hot work at the jump outs and I expect he can continue to progress now. He ran good time in that fresh run and Kah takes over for this today. Looks ready to work his way through the grades.
