Round 4 of the AFL season was another tough one for AFL Tipping competitions and also an interesting one for AFL Brownlow betting. The reigning Brownlow medallist and the 2022 Brownlow favourite both left the field with injury and illness, while several other contenders are likely to poll votes. Check out our Round 4 Brownlow vote predictions below!
AFL Brownlow Round 4 Overview
After potentially polling a perfect 9 votes in the first three rounds, Carlton superstar Patrick Cripps did his hammy early against the Suns and limped from the field. Early signs are that it's not as bad as first thought, and he may not miss too many matches. But we all know that a dodgy hammy is hard to shake, and given the injury history of Cripps, he could be a good Brownlow fade at this point.
Reigning Brownlow medallist Ollie Wines also left the field with some heart/breathing issues, which will see him miss some time as well.
Darcy Parish, Jack Steele and Max Gawn are the big name contenders likely to poll Brownlow votes in Round 4 action.
