NBA Betting Tips: Thursday, 10th of February
Chicago Bulls at Charlotte Hornets

Looking to get back on the winners list after a couple of tough losses on their home deck, the Bulls will head on the road for a quick one-game trip in Charlotte. Most recently the Bulls came up against the league-leading Suns in Chicago and while they only ended up losing by three points, the score-line certainly flatters them. The Bulls are now 33-21 on the season and have slipped to third in the East standings.
Also struggling for positive results at the moment, the Hornets will be hoping to snap a five-game losing streak, four of which have come at home, when they host the Bulls on Thursday. The Hornets have now lost seven of their last nine games and a lot of those losses are due to their poor defence, as they’ve given up 100+ points on all nine occasions. Due to their current form, the Hornets have slipped ninth in the East standings.
This will be just the second meeting between these Eastern Conference rivals this season, with the Bulls looking to go up 2-0 in the series. They dominated their first matchup with the Hornets in Chicago, putting up 133 points en route to a 14-point win. The Hornets will have home court on their side this time around, but that isn’t necessarily an advantge with the form they’re currently in, making the Bulls good value to secure the victory here.
Golden State Warriors at Utah Jazz

The Warriors were too good for the lowly Thunder in their most recent outing, defeating them by 12 points in a strong four-quarter performance. Impressively, that was their ninth consecutive win since suffering a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Pacers a couple of weeks ago. In line-up news, Klay Thompson is set to miss this clash on Thursday, but the Warriors are more than prepared to play without him and will be eyeing off their 42nd win of the campaign.
The Jazz went through a couple of tough weeks to begin 2022, but look to have come out on the other side with three wins on the spin leading into Thursday. Admittedly, all three of their wins have been at home and against understrength teams, but you can only beat who’s in front of you and they certainly weren’t doing that a couple of weeks ago. The Jazz remain in fourth spot in the West standings at 33-21.
Looking to get their first win on the board against the Warriors this season, the Jazz will be desperate to build on their three-game win streak and solve the Steve Kerr puzzle. Not only have the Warriors won both meetings this season, but they’ve also won each of their last four games against the Jazz. We expect more of the same this time around and are keen to be on the Warriors at the underdog price.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Sacramento Kings

The Timberwolves have finally had some luck on their side in terms of health in recent weeks and their results will show you that. They enter the Thursday slate on a terrific five-game win streak, all of which have been by double-figure margins. The Timberwolves have now won 13 of their 20 games in 2022 and as a result, have climbed into seventh spot in the stacked Western Conference with a positive 29-25 record.
The Kings finally decided to shake things up with a big trade after another wasted season toiling away down the bottom of the West standings. They’ve decided to offload shining light Tyrese Haliburton and bring in 2x All-Star Domantas Sabonis from the Pacers. It’ll be interesting to see how the Kings fare from this trade going forward, although it’ll be at least a couple of days until we see Sabonis suit up for the 20-36 Kings.
Meeting for the second time in as many days, the Timberwolves will be looking for another cheap win over the undermanned and disgruntled Kings. In their first meeting on Wednesday the Kings had absolutely no answer for the well-oiled machine that was the Timberwolves offence and while the space of 24 hours can often change things quite a bit, we’re not expecting that to be the case here and are keen to be on the away side to record another dominant victory.
