2021-22 NBA Betting Tips: Saturday 27th November

NBA Betting Tips Saturday 27th November

After a day off for Thanksgiving, NBA action returns on Saturday with a huge 12-game slate. As always, we bring you our best spread and player prop bets for the day for free right here! Good luck to everyone following!

NBA Betting Tips: Saturday, 27th of November

Phoenix Suns at New York Knicks

Madison Square Garden, 11am AEDT

The Suns had a late scare against the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Thursday but were able to grind out yet another win to make it 14 in a row, which is now just three shy of their best win streak in franchise history. The Suns now have an impressive 15-3 record this season and look as though they’ll be in good shape to try and defend their Western Conference title at the business end of the season.

The Knicks started the season on fire with five wins from their first six games but have since struggled for consistency, unable to string wins together from their last 12 outings. Regardless, the Knicks are in good shape after 18 games with 10 wins to their name. On a sour note, All-Star recruit Kemba Walker has struggled mightily to fit in with his new teammates and is currently averaging just 11 points per contest.

The Knicks have won five of their last 12 games and will need to show some big improvement on that form if they’re to challenge the Suns who come into their building having taken 14 scalps in a row. The Knicks will appreciate being the home team in this contest, but it doesn’t necessarily mean much when you consider the Suns had the best road record in the NBA a season ago and also have a league best 7-1 road record this campaign. We recommend backing the Suns to cover the very small spread here.

Portland Trail Blazers at Golden State Warriors

Chase Center, 2pm AEDT

The Trail Blazers away woes continued on Thursday when they went down by four points to the lowly Kings. The Blazers entered that contest on a four-game win streak, all of which came in Portland, but they were unable to translate their home success onto the road, which saw their away record fall to 1-8 on the season. It’s still very early on this campaign, but such a big gap between their form at home and away is certainly a cause for concern.

The Warriors continued their scorching hot start to the season with an easy 20-point win at home against the 76ers on Thursday. That loss was their fifth in a row and 16th for the season against just two losses. Steph Curry has been in some of the best form of his stellar career, but has also had plenty of help on offence with both Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins producing at a consistently high level.

The Warriors are firing on all cylinders and still have superstar guard Klay Thompson to come back in the next couple of weeks, which is a scary proposition for all opposing teams. On Saturday the league’s best team gets a look at a Blazers outfit that has only one win from 10 games on the road this season. We expect this to be another formality for the red-hot Warriors.

Golden State Warriors -6.5

Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Lakers

Staples Center, 2:30pm AEDT

The Kings found success in their second game post the Luke Walton era when defeating the Trail Blazers by four points on Thursday. Interim coach Alvin Gentry has opted for a guard-heavy rotation in his first couple of outings in charge as he looks to play with a lot more pace to utilise his team’s strengths. Whether or not the Kings can turn the corner and make a charge up the rankings in the West remains to be seen.

The Lakers looked on their way to yet another disappointing defeat when they trailed by double-digits against the Pacers on Thursday, however, King James chucked on his superman cape and dropped a 39 points to guide the Lakers to an important victory. The Lakers are now an even 10-10 after 20 games and will be looking to go on a run now James has returned from injury.

The Lakers are clearly the better team and the deserving favourites in this matchup, however, a change in head coach always leads to more urgency from a young team and that’s what we’ve seen from the Kings in their last two games. Coming off a confidence building win against the Blazers last time out, we expect the Kings to push the Lakers on Saturday and potentially cause an upset.

Sacramento Kings +7.5
