2020-21 NBA Finals Betting Tips: Game 4
Phoenix Suns at Milwaukee Bucks
Fiserv Forum, Thursday 11am AEST
The series changed venues for Game 3 and the momentum changed with it as the Milwaukee Bucks comfortably handled the Phoenix Suns on their home deck to get themselves back in the hunt for their second NBA Championship. The Bucks flipped the script from the first two games by having a dominant second quarter of their own, which created enough separation for them to eventually run home easy 20-point winners via a 120-100 score line. The Suns now lead this best-of-seven series 2-1 after winning the opening two games in Phoenix.
The Suns got off to a great start in Game 1 where they were moving the ball well and finding open shooters, but after the first term they completely fell away on offence, which put a lot of pressure on their defence. DeAndre Ayton also found himself in foul trouble and that allowed the Bucks to use their size to dominate inside. The best performing Suns player in Game 3 had to be Jae Crowder who connected on six of his seven three-point attempts, with the rest of his team combining for 3-24.
The Bucks have been far better at home than on the road all season long, so it was no surprise to see them produce their best effort of the series in Milwaukee for Game 3. Giannis Antetokounmpo was special once again with a 41/13/6 split while hitting on 13-17 of his free throw attempts. Aside from him, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday had solid contributions and Bobby Portis was important with his energy off the bench.
The Bucks made some great adjustments on both sides of the ball in Game 3 and showed us all that they’re more than capable of pushing the Suns in this series. Home court advantage has proven to be a big factor already through three games with the home side winning each contest by at least 10 points. We expect that trend to continue in Game 4 which will see the Bucks cover the small -4.5 spread in Milwaukee.

Same Game Multi
For the first of our three-leg Same Game Multi we’ll be taking Devin Booker for 25+ points. The 2x All-Star struggled mightily with his shot in Game 3 when hitting on just 3-14 of his field goal attempts, but he always tends to bounce back quickly from a poor game and we expect that to happen on Thursday. Secondly, we’ll be including Giannis Antetokounmpo for 12+ rebounds, which he’s been able to do in all three games this series at an average of 14. Finally, we’ll be on PJ Tucker to hit at least one three-pointer, which he has now done in each of his last seven playoff games.
- Devin Booker 25+ Points
- Giannis Antetokounmpo 12+ Rebounds
- PJ Tucker 1+ Made Three
