NBL Round 15 Betting Tips
Perth Wildcats vs Brisbane Bullets
Friday 9:30pm AEST, RAC Arena
Perth Wildcats come into this off a surprising loss at home to the Breakers that saw them slip to second on the ladder. As disappointing of a loss that it was, the Breakers have been a tough matchup for the Wildcats this season for whatever reason and their form otherwise has been tremendous of late.
Brisbane Bullets were in some great form midway through the season but have completely fallen away over the past couple of weeks due to form and injuries. They’ve lost two in a row and five of their last six, with three of those losses coming by 19+ points.
The Wildcats are still well and truly in the hunt for top spot and the minor premiership, so we expect their energy levels to be high, especially after a disappointing loss last time out. With home court advantage also on their side as well as a talent advantage over the undermanned Bullets, the stars are aligning for a blowout win for the Wildcats.

Melbourne United vs Adelaide 36ers
Saturday 5:30pm AEST, John Cain Arena
Melbourne United are rolling at the moment and look to be peaking at the right time as we approach the playoffs. They easily won their Round 14 meeting with the Hawks, which made it seven straight wins for ladder-leaders, the second straight time they’ve been on such a run this season.
Adelaide 36ers lost their way during the middle portion of the season, mainly due to some long-term injuries to key players; however, since getting back some of their pieces, the 36ers have gone onto win three of their past four games. Despite this recent stretch, the 36ers won’t be featuring in the playoffs this season.
Both teams would be happy with their form coming into this game, but United are clearly the team to beat here. They’ve won six of their past seven games by 6+ points and we expect that to change to 7/8 once this game is over.

Illawarra Hawks vs Adelaide 36ers
Saturday 8pm AEST, Win Entertainment Centre
Illawarra Hawks were in the box seat for a top four finish a couple of weeks ago, but losses in seven of their past 10 games now has them on the outside looking in. Their offence has really dried up over this current stretch as they’ve managed to score 85+ points just once.
Sydney Kings have shaken off a five-game stretch where they went 1-4 to win each of their last three games. Their defence has been the driving force to their recent turn in form, which has pushed them into third spot on the ladder and potentially just two wins away from securing a playoff berth.
The Hawks are always locked in on defence, it’s just their offence that can let them down at times. As for the Kings, their defence has ramped up as of late, which should make for a tough, low-scoring affair on Saturday night. Under 170 points has been scored in each of the two meetings between these teams this season and with all things considered, we expect it to occur again.
