Another fantastic week coming up in the NFL this week, getting underway on Friday with the Texans taking on the Colts in an interesting AFC South clash. The action continues on Monday with a 12 game slate and we have you covered with betting tips for every game below.
NFL Week 10 Betting Tips
Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans
Friday, 12.20pm (AEDT)
The Titans started the season in hot form, winning their first five games before dropping back to back games against the Steelers and Bengals. They bounced back from that loss with a comfortable seven point win over the Bears in Week 9 and will be looking to take a commanding lead in the AFC South when they face off against what looks to be their only challengers in the division, their Colts.
Indy has started the season with a 5-3 record and can draw level with the Titans in the division with a win on Friday. A Week 1 loss to the Jaguars could come back to haunt them at the end of the year as they have a pretty tough run home with games against the Packers, Titans, Raiders and Steelers to come.
The Titans start as the slightest of favourites here but this game is pretty even. Both teams have had good wins and bad losses this year so it’s pretty hard to get a read on this one. We have the Titans slightly in front for the fact that they seemed to find some form against the Bears in Week 9 and their offence just looks a little more trustworthy.
Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams
Monday 8.25am (AEDT)
The NFC West is arguably the most competitive division in the league and it will once again headline the late games on Monday morning as the Rams host the Seahawks from 8.25am. The Seahawks currently top the division with a 6-2 record but both the Cardinals and the Rams are breathing down their neck at 5-3 while the 49ers aren’t far behind.
The Seahawks won their first five games of the season but have since lost two of their last three to the Cardinals and Bills. If they can get through this week, they have a pretty easy run ahead with games against the Eagles, Giants, Jets and Washington across the next five weeks. Their defence was on song against the 49ers last week but it was straight back to it’s leaky worst against the Bills, allowing 44 points in the loss.
The Seahawks have struggled to stop anything this season, it’s just lucky their offence has been up to the task. They have allowed the third most points per game this season at 30.4 and more total yards than any team in the competition at 455.8 per game. Six of the eight Seahawks games have gone over this season and the two that haven’t missed the line by just one point.
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears
Tuesday 12.15pm (AEDT)
Another competitive division at the moment is the NFC North, where the Packers reign supreme at the moment but nipping at their heels is the Chicago Bears. The Bears have a 5-4 record but have lost their last three on the trot to the Rams, Saints and Titans. On the contrary, the Vikings started the season in average form but have won their last two against NFC North opponents in the Packers and Lions.
They’ll be attempting to go 3/3 this Tuesday and insert themselves back into the conversation for the NFC North title. Their offence has been strong this season, putting up 27.1 points per game led by star running back Dalvin Cook. They have, however, allowed 29.3 points per game, good for the 8th most in the league.
It’s an offence vs defence type of game here as the Bears have been one of the premier defensive teams in the competition so far. Which team will prevail? Hard to tell, but we like the look of the over, which sits at just 44.5 points, a mark which has been easily eclipsed in all but one of the Vikings games this season.
