Another night of quality esports coming up this Thursday night and our expert Michael Lee is back to take a look at some of the key matchups across the DOTA2 title below. Today he focuses in on the DOTA Summit Online 13 tournaments in both Southeast Asia and the Americas.

Motivate.Trust Gaming vs Adroit Esports
DOTA Summit Online 13: Southeast Asia
Motivate.Trust Gaming and Adroit Esports have last met just over a week ago in the seventh round of DOTA Summit Online 13: Southeast Asia. The series lasted for almost 1 hour and 50 minutes, but it was Motivate.Trust Gaming who came out ahead convincingly, which is not shocking since they held the lead in their hands from minute one in both of the games.
Since then, Motivate.Trust Gaming defeated Among Us, Army Geniuses and Cignal Ultra, and drew with BOOM Esports, which are very decent results. Adroit, on the other hand, managed only three draws, although that includes fixtures against BOOM, TNC Predator, as well as Neon Esports.
Adroit and Motivate.Trust Gaming have met four times in 2020, with Motivate.Trust Gaming winning all but one game at the start of October, and even that ended in a draw. While I must give Adroit some praise for their solid performances against TNC and BOOM, Motivate.Trust Gaming are still a stronger team that also historically does well into Adroit. Bet on Motivate.Trust Gaming to win 2-0!

TNC Predator vs Among Us
DOTA Summit Online 13: Southeast Asia
Both TNC Predator and Among Us field very stacked rosters, but even with that, neither of the two showed the level of play expected of them. Nevertheless, both finished amongst the top four teams and secured an upper bracket seed which more or less proves they're both strong candidates for the title.
TNC ended the group stage with a 4-4-1 record and only lost to BOOM Esports in the second round of the competition. Among Us ended the group stage with a slightly less convincing 3-4-2 record and had to win a tiebreaker match against BOOM to lock in a top-four finish.
Even though the most recent meeting between Among Us and TNC ended in a draw, it's fair to say that TNC have been more consistent with their showings, which is why I don't see a problem with shorter odds offered on them. Still, it seems highly unlikely this match will end in a 2-0.
Among Us might still be a bit shaky in their displays, but they looked decent in their win over BOOM and if they can enter this match with the same fire as they have shown on Tuesday, Among Us should win at least one map and force the series to go the distance. Bet on over 2.5 maps!
Quincy Crew vs Thunder Predator
DOTA Summit Online 13: Americas
Quincy Crew are billed as the main favourites to win the DOTA Summit Online 13: Americas and if their performance through the group stage (81-1-0) is to go by, I don't see a problem with that. There are not many teams that can stop them and that includes Thunder Predator.
Thunder Predator are not nearly as solid as they were a couple of months ago, but we must consider this team has made it to the finals of OGA Dota PIT S2: Americas and ESL One Thailand 2020: Americas, although they lost both games to no other than Quincy Crew with 1-3 and 0-3. Still, TP have shown some quality as of late with wins over Infamous and beastcoast, as well as a draw with Team Zero.
Quincy Crew and Thunder Predator last met on Friday, when QC won 2-0. While QC demolished Thunder Predator on the second map (30-6), the fight was much closer in the opening game of the series, where TP even held a lead for the first 20 minutes but fell apart and lost with 22-33 in kills.
Even though I don't see how TP can defeat the surging QC, the kill line is set a bit too high for us to ignore. TP have the quality to make the series interesting and since they don’t have anything to lose, we can expect a strong start from them on map one.
