NFL Week 4 Monday Preview & Betting Tips
Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
3am (AEST)
The Eagles bounced back from a Week 2 loss to the Falcons on Sunday as they travelled to New Orleans and kept the dynamic Saints to just 12 points in a solid win. Their offence has looked a little scrappy over the last two weeks, putting up just 18 points per game, but they are 2-1 in the season and are shaping up as the team to beat in what looks to be a pretty weak NFC East.
The Buccs won their first two games of the season over the Commanders and Lions but were beaten comfortably in Week 3, going down to the Broncos at home by 19 points. They currently sit right in the middle of the pack when it comes to offence and defence, ranked 15th in the league in both categories.
Both of these teams have been slightly struggling to put up their expected points of late. The under is 9-1 in the Eagles last 10 road games and 8-2 in the Buccs last 10 home games. Definitely leaning towards the unders here with this total currently at 42.5.

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons
3am (AEST)
The Saints looked like the best team in the league through the opening two weeks, putting up 45.5 points per game as they cruised to 2-0 with wins over the Panthers and Cowboys. Their offence came to a grinding halt in Week 3, however, as they put up just 12 points at home in a loss to the Eagles. Star running back Alvin Kamara is currently listed as day to day, but is expected to play on Sunday.
The Falcons have had a rough start to the year, squaring off against three quality teams in the Steelers, Eagles and Chiefs. They were super competitive against the Chiefs in Week 3 but ultimately went down by five points to fall to 1-2 on the season. Their defence has looked solid, ranked in the top half of the league, allowing just 20.3 points per game.
I was wary of some Saints fools gold after the Week 1 blowout against the Panthers. They backed it up in Week 2 but I think their true colours came through in their latest game. Derek Carr can’t be trusted at the best of times, on the contrary, Kirk Cousins has looked solid this year while this Atlanta team has gone toe-to-toe with some of the best teams in the league. Cousins is 35-17 against the spread when coming off a loss since 2015, back Atlanta to get the job done at home.

Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens
10.20am (AEST)
Easily the game of the round sees two of the AFC juggernauts squaring off on Sunday Night Football. The Bills are 3-0 on the season and have been putting up massive numbers. They are the top ranked offence in the league, scoring 37.3 points per game and were far too good for the Jags in Week 3, winning 47-10 at home on the back of a four touchdown game from star quarterback Josh Allen.
The Ravens had a tough start to the season, losing games at the Chiefs and at home against the Raiders in close affairs, but bounced back in Week 3 to claim a three point win over the Cowboys. Their offence has been solid, currently ranked 10th in the league, but they have struggled to restrict sides this year, allowing the 6th most points of any team in the league at 26.0 per game.
At 46.5, this total seems a touch high to me. The under is 13-4 in the last 17 Bills road games, and recreational money on prime-time games generally seems to drive totals up. The under is are 23-11 in the last 34 September prime-time games.
