We are looking at Beckett to bounce back after a somewhat sloppy start to the season. Detroit went to town on Beckett in his first game, lasting just four innings, he allowed five hits and four runs.
The big Texan is too talented and experienced to allow another game like this. There will also be extra motivation for the Dodgers as they (and the MLB) are celebrating the 67th Anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the colour barrier. Robinson played with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947 and they will be honouring Robinson by wearing No. 42 Jerseys.
Lincecum had a decent record last season v LAD ( 2-1 3.47 ERA ) but I believe that will change this season. Dodgers have all the offensive weapons and they are putting up consistent runs.
