Horse Racing Tips: Wednesday, February 16th
Randwick R2
Hoping (2) Money From The Sky can return to the track a winner today following an up and down sort of debut prep. Started favourite against Profondo at 2nd career start but flopped before then going down as a short favourite at next start. The trials leading into today have been good, hitting the line from out wide reasonably well. Should be able to land in a forward enough spot and should be going close to breaking through here.

Randwick R4
The win of (6) Sinba last start was enormous, making up a massive amount of ground to just get the head down where it counted. That was first up off a decent spell and now looks suited rising in trip for this 2nd up. Will obviously be spotting a few of these a start but he looks very progressive and deserves a crack in this sort of race now.
Randwick R6
(9) Laurelin has trialed sharply in the lead up to this and she is a lightly raced filly with a stack of talent. Stable have taken plenty of time with her but she looked very good when winning this at this track first up last prep. From the low draw Jmac should be able to either find the front or at least position just off them and be close enough to pounce in the straight. She can win here and go on to work her way through the grades.
Sandown R4
Pretty keen to follow (5) Aspen Colorado 2nd up and rising to a more suitable trip. Was extremely good fresh when hitting the line from well back after the jockey dropped the whip! Only career win came when 2nd up over this 1800m trip where he bolted in by 6L. No doubt this is much tougher but I think he’s a horse who’s worth following throughout this prep.
Sandown R6
(1) Lloyd’s Crown should be too good for these and form behind some quality group-level horses looks very strong for a race like this. Finished just 2L off Ingratiating and Ranch Hand last prep at Flemington and he’s still very lightly raced. Expect Meech to go to the front from the wide draw and she’s one of the best in the business on the front-runners.
