Horse Racing Tips: Saturday, January 22nd
Moonee Valley Race 1
(1) Unflinching looks to remain unbeaten here following a smart debut prep. Won 2/2 there in good fashion, jumping and leading here over this track and trip. Recent jump ot was good, looks speedy and should be suited here at the Valley. Hard to beat with even luck.
Moonee Valley Race 2
Think (3) Eros looks hard to beat off the back of a good debut when only finding one better in the late stages. They gapped 3rd there and I think the winner could be pretty smart. Started $1.80 there and I think race experience will see him go one better today. Draws well for Zahra and rise to 1200 all ticks.
Randwick Race 4
(7) And We Danced hit the front too early on Australian debut but should take a stack of improvement out of the run. Like her rising to the mile now and she should get conditions to suit today. Trusting Waller will have her ready to fire and she can go on to win a few races this prep.
Randwick Race 7
If (7) Salina Dreaming is ready to go then I doubt they’ll be beating her. She absolutely flies fresh and I’ve really liked the trials leading in. Some query that’s she’s missed a couple of runs but she is the best horse in this race for mine. Bowman booked for the first time and I’m keen she can return with a win.
Randwick Race 9
(5) Yiyi was the one horse I wanted to follow from the other weekend when he flew home to run the fastest L200 of the meeting over a trip short of his best. Should be suited now rising to the mile and I think he’s come back airborne. Any give in the ground is a bonus and the wide draw will give him plenty of clear air.
