Pittsburgh Pirates at San Diego Padres
Where: Petco Park , San Diego, CA
When: Tuesday 3rd June, 12:10pm AEST
Starters: C. Morton (3.29 ERA) vs T. Stauffer (4.50 ERA)
This looks like a classic let down spot for the Pirates and the sportsbooks look like they are begging for Pittsburgh money.
After a great win yesterday in Los Angeles the Pirates would be the easy, no thought bet. Andrew McCutchen hit his first homer in a long time and also had a pair of doubles. These are all positives so why are we seeing such even money from the books?
San Diego pitcher Tim Stauffer is coming off one of his worst starts ever, yet the books still have the Padres favoured. San Diego has an excellent history of beating Pittsburgh winning 22 of the last 28.
This is not to mention Pittsburgh starting pitcher Charlie Morton is getting smacked on the road and has a terrible 0-4 record through five starts.
We are going against the masses today and recommend a play on San Diego Padres.
