Yesterday when these two teams played it took twelve innings to get a result and it came down to an error from the Diamondbacks which the Cardinals jumped all over. Now the Cardinals can sweep the three-game series.
Cardinals will send in starter Lance Lynn who has a solid 5-2 record and a 3.67 ERA. He seems to be finding his groove and Monday’s performance against the Brewers was proof. He kept them scoreless for seven innings while striking out 11. The big righty from Mississippi is poised to sweep the Diamondbacks.
Wade Miley heads to the mound for Arizona. He has been struggling of late. Giving up 31 hits and 22 runs over his last five starts. Miley has a mediocre 4.94 ERA and only three wins.
I believe Arizona will struggle today after being so close yesterday and falling short. I love taking the home favourite in this spot (where they can play confident and loose) Cardinals will hit Miley and put runs on the board.
