EPL Matchday 16 Betting Tips
Manchester United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Old Trafford, Wednesday 7am AEDT
Manchester United let a great opportunity slip against Leicester on the weekend and had to settle for a share of the points in the end. Despite the disappointment, United are building some really nice form in the league and are now eight matches unbeaten.
Wolverhampton haven’t been in the greatest of form and had a tough task playing hosts to Tottenham most recently, which finished 1-1. The Wolves have secured just four points from their past five league matches and are on the slide in the standings.
There have been 17 goals scored in United’s last three EPL fixtures and eight scored in Wolves matches during that span, while all six of those games have seen the both teams to score market salute. It’s safe to say we’re expecting goals in this one, making the BTTS market look like great value.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham
THS, Thursday 5am AEDT
Tottenham’s struggled on the road continued on the weekend in a 1-1 draw against the Wolves. The Spurs are now four away matches without a win in the league (3D, 1L), which has seen them slide to fifth on the league table and six points behind Liverpool in first.
Fulham’s run of draws extended to four when they finished up 0-0 against Southampton in Matchweek 15. The Cottagers definitely would’ve liked a win or two during this stretch but at least they’re picking up some points on a consistent basis. They come into this weekend sitting in 18th and will likely remain in the relegation battle for the entirety of the season.
Tottenham haven’t secured maximum points in four league matches but return home for this clash where they’ve won three of their past four. They get the perfect opportunity to return to winning ways and we expect them to make the most of it with a comfortable victory against a mediocre Fulham outfit.

Newcastle United vs Liverpool
St. James’ Park, Thursday 7am AEDT
Newcastle are going through a nightmare part of their schedule heading into the new year. They were losers against Manchester City on the weekend and now have to take on Liverpool a couple of days later. With that said, the Magpies have been solid so far this campaign with 18 points amassed to sit 13th on the table.
Liverpool’s perfect home record this campaign came to an end on Monday morning when they drew 1-1 with West Brom. The Reds dominated the key stats but weren’t able to take their chances. They remain three points clear at the top of the table with 23 matches remaining.
In each of the last three times these clubs have met the Both Teams to Score market has saluted, as has the Over 2.5 Goals market. Both teams have also struggled to keep clean sheets this campaign, so we’re expecting plenty of goals at St. James’ Park on Thursday morning.
