Another week, another slate of EPL games to look forward to! We have been treated to an absolute smorgasbord of Premier League action over the past few weeks and it continues this weekend with Matchday 15 set to be played from Saturday night through Monday morning.
As usual, we have a full preview and betting tips for some of the key matchups of the week below.
EPL Matchday 15 Betting Tips
Leicester City vs Manchester United
Saturday 11.30pm (AEDT)
The Foxes captured a season defining win over Tottenham on the weekend, boosting them into 2nd place on the EPL table with a 9-0-5 record and 27 points. They are the only team in the Premier League who have not drawn a game through the opening 14 matches, and their tally of nine wins is equal with Liverpool for the most in the league.
Manchester United is in the midst of one of the best starts to a Premier League season in the past decade. They have an 8-2-3 record and sit third on the EPL table, just one point behind their opponents on Saturday night. Their offence has been damaging, with their 28 goals second only to Liverpool, who have 36 on the season. They are coming off two straight wins over Sheffield and Leeds and have not lost a game in the Premier League since a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal on the 2nd of November.
Tough game to call here between two in-form sides. We are opting to stay away from the result and look towards the under instead. These two teams have regularly played in low scoring games over the past few years, with their last three meetings resulting in a total of just four goals. Often when two sides at the top of the table who are similarly matched face off, the result is a low scoring arm-wrestle. Back that to happen here.
Manchester City vs Newcastle
Sunday 7am (AEDT)
Manchester City are coming of a 1-0 win over Southampton away from home and are undefeated in their last five Premier League games, however, they still sit in 7th place on the EPL table with a 6-5-2 record. They have scored just 19 goals this season, which is the fewest of any team inside the top 10, very uncharacteristic for Manchester City, who have had one of the most dynamic offences in the league over the last five years.
Newcastle currently sits in 12th spot on the EPL table and are coming off a disappointing 1-1 draw with Fulham. Fulham’s Joachim Anderson received a red card in the 62nd minute of the game but Newcastle couldn’t capitalise with the extra man, despite firing off 12 shots, five of them on target. They have scored just 17 goals this season and their 22 allowed is the most of any team in the top 12.
Manchester City should be able to find the back of the net a couple of times at least here against a leaky Newcastle defence, and their strength this year has been their defence. The Citizens have allowed just 12 goals, the fewest in the league and have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five Premier League games. Back them to win this one to nil.

Liverpool vs West Brom
Monday 3.30am (AEDT)
After a few weeks where some cracks started to appear in the Liverpool armour, they asserted their dominance in a telling display in Matchday 14, smashing Crystal Palace 7-0 to jump to remain at the top of the table with a four point lead. They have lost just one game this season, but have drawn four, already dropping 11 points compared to the 15 they dropped for the entire 2019-20 season. They have plundered 36 goals, which is six more than the next best team in the league and their goal difference of +17 is also easily the best in the competition.
While Liverpool fight for their second straight title, West Brom are in a fight of their own, one to avoid relegation. They sit 19th on the EPL table, three points behind safety and have lost three of their last four games. Sandwiched in between those losses, however, was a gallant 1-1 effort against Manchester City, which was just the fifth game out of 14 this season where they have secured points.
Liverpool and West Brom have been involved in some high scoring games over the past few seasons. Their last two games in particular, one in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup, have resulted in a total of nine goals and we think this one could be another shootout. Whether it be in the form of another dominant Liverpool win or West Brom scoring one or two of their own, this one has 4+ written all over it.
