Virginia Tech at Miami
This line opened at -7.0 ( Miami ) but that number was quickly gobbled up by punters. It's clear that the general consensus is that this game will be tight. The number is now at -5.0 and we still believe there is value on the Virginia Tech side.
Miami were in a word " hopeless" last week against Florida State. They had trouble moving the ball all day. Miami have also lost their star running back for the season. Duke Johnson fractured his ankle late in the third quarter and will miss the rest of the season.
Although Virginia Tech are 6-3 they still have their sights set on finishing number one in the ACC so this game is an absolute must win.
We have a feeling this game will be hard fought and at times " sloppy" which is why we are leaning to the under 43.5 points total.
There is a big Revenge angle from last November and this game should come down to a field goal either way so there is still value at +5.0
