Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints
LIVE: ESPN 10:20 AEST
It has been 15 years since two teams enter a Monday Night Football game with 3-0 records. Its no surprise that Sean Payton and Drew Brees are back doing what they do best. Winning. A year off for Coach Payton due to the "Bountygate Scandal" has not effected his ability and passion to win. It does however feel like somewhat of a surprise that the Miami Dolphions are 3-0. They really got away with one in the week 2 victory against the Colts.
Miami's sophomore QB Ryan Tannehill has been outstanding, but it feels like the whole leaugue is waiting for him to choke. The Dolphins have been putting him in tough tough situations and he has handled it so far but if you keep giving a young inexperienced QB 3rd and long downs then something has gotta give.
The Saints at the Superdome are flawless.
The Saints put up 423 yards against Arizona with All-Pro QB Drew Brees passing for 342 yards and 3 touchdowns. His main target tight end Jimmy Graham looks dangerous and with his hieght he will be a constant headache for Miami today.
The Saints are 11-0 ATS under Payton and Brees in the Superdome.
The Dolphins are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 MNF games.
Defensively the Saints are giving up 295 yards per game
Miami are giving up 372 yards per game.
Miami has been the surprise packet this year and there's no doubt they are improving but going up against Drew Brees in the Superdome on a Monday Night is a daunting task even fort the best teams in the NFL. The Saints win by two Touchdowns
