Yet another handy day of country racing to kickstart the week as we have horse racing tips from Cessnock, Northam and Kilmore for this Monday, September 26th.
Cessnock Racing Tips
R1 - No Effort Needed
R2 - Bill's A Goodie
R3 - Silver Art (best bet)
R4 - Ultimate Fantasy E/W
R5 - Blue Blue Sky E/W (best value)
R6 - Kamehameha
R7 - Turf Tapper
R8 - Miss Tickles
Best Bet: Race 3 - Silver Art
Resumes from a spell here for a new stable. Looks a very shallow race and his trial leading into this was impressive, winning by nearly 4 lengths. Don't expect much of a price but looks a good thing.
Best Value: Race 5 - Blue Blue Sky
Makes his Sydney debut for a new stable. Previously showed a bit of ability for David Hayes in Melbourne, where he won his maiden over 1300m. Has his first start in nearly 500 days but he's trialled well leading into this, including a couple of wins over 900m. Already $13 into $8 and may start shorter.
Northam Racing Tips
R1 - Vermont Lady
R2 - Black Scandal
R3 - Ripper Red
R4 - Stryke Me Irish E/W (best value)
R5 - Vagabond Boy
R6 - Sixpence Spent
R7 - Lone Sailor (best bet)
R8 - Prentice
Best Bet: Race 7 - Lone Sailor
Good on debut at Belmont to finish a close-up fourth and backed that up with a strong maiden win last start where he came from last to run them down. Has to carry 60kg here but the good draw means he can be closer and the step up to 1400m only helps.
Best Value: Race 4 - Stryke Me Irish
Well backed on debut but had to travel very wide and you can forgive that run. Pike and Warwick are a lethal combination and Pike retaining the ride here is a good sign. There's a short favourite so each way odds available.
Kilmore Racing Tips
R1 - Summer Glen + Channing (best value)
R2 - Fomo (best bet)
R3 - Condolences
R4 - Terindah
R5 - Reigning in Paris
R6 - Danish Flair
R7 - Vain Kingdom
R8 - Hell On Earth
Best Bet: Race 2 - Fomo
Very, very heavily backed on debut when 4th at Wodonga. Did a bit wrong so with race experience and the blinkers off she could be hard to beat here. No prices up as time of writing.
Best Value: Race 1 - Channing
Nightmare of a race with 7 horses on debut and plenty having never been seen in public, which includes this horse. The track will be very heavy, however, and his breeding suggets he will relish the wet. Could be a big price.
