Scorchers vs Sixers Betting Tips
Scorchers
Liam Livingstone has bounced back from a duck in the first game and is showing why the Scorchers picked him up. He’s coming off a stylish 69 off just 26 balls at the Adelaide Oval, which included 7 sixes! He also has form at Optus Stadium with 29 off 19 against the Renegades. The Sixers bowling lineup allowed 209 runs to the out of form Heat on Sunday as Chris Lynn smashed 94 runs and took advantage of the Sixers powerplay overs. So we’ll look for Livingstone to repeat the same dosage on this good batting deck in Perth.
Livingstone 30+ runs

Sixers
Nothing went right for the Sixers on Sunday night in a 48 run loss to the Heat at the SCG. But one positive out of the loss was James Vince and his 39 off 27. With Daniel Hughes struggling for runs at the top of the order, Vince should be called upon for another solid outing. The Optus Stadium deck looks great for batting at the moment and Vince should be able to clear 23.5 runs. He’s averaging 23.3 runs in 3 games thus far with a high of 39 in his last inning.
Vince OVER 23.5 runs
$1.88
Prediction
The Scorchers will be hurting after an epic collapse at the Adelaide Oval against the Strikers where 124/0 quickly turned into 183/7. But with the Scorchers back at home, they should be out for revenge, especially after the Sixers easily won the first meeting of the season. Perth’s opening combination of Inglis/Livingstone looks very solid in the powerplay. Meanwhile, the Sixers are missing Steve O’Keefe in the bowling department and that’s putting more pressure on the likes of Pope/Manenti to keep the run rate down. Which won’t be easy in this matchup with Perth after they scored 190+ against the Renegades in their first home game. So we’ll be looking for the Scorchers to rebound with a win. They’ve also won the last 5 meetings in Perth against the Sixers.
