Hooray! The bye rounds are officially over for the 2024 AFL season! This means we're back to nine-match rounds for Round 16 and beyond, and this weekend's action begins on Friday night with Brisbane hosting Melbourne at the Gabba. Super Saturday returns with a monster five-game slate with plenty of juicy matchups among them, while the weekend will round out with three matches on Sunday.

Friday June 28th
The Lions are officially back in season 2024 after destroying the Power on enemy soil last weekend. They now take on the vulnerable Demons who they will surely dispatch on Friday night.
Saturday June 29th
The Kangaroos came desperately close to recording their second win of the season last weekend and are showing some great improvement. However, they now face the Bulldogs who are beginning to find some of their better form.
The Swans are firing on all cylinders and return home to the SCG this weekend where they’ll host the Dockers. Will it be another straightforward win for the red-and-white?
The Suns cannot buy a win on the road but the good news is they’re back to People First Stadium this weekend where they’ll host the Magpies. This one has sneaky match of the round potential!
The Crows are fresh off their bye and will be hoping to make a surge in the back half of the season. Elsewhere, the Giants are coming off a loss to their archrivals and will be keen to quickly make amends.
The Cats are in a major rut and it doesn’t get any easier for them on Saturday night when they host the Bombers at the MCG. You can expect a bumper crowd to make their way to this blockbuster!
Sunday June 30th
An intriguing clash between the Saints and the Power kicks off Sunday’s three-game slate. Both clubs are in desperate need of a win after going through a poor patch of form. Who secures a crucial win?
The Tigers have had no luck in 2024 and wins have been extremely hard to come by as a result. Unfortunately, they now take on one of the modern day powerhouses of the competition in the Blues at the home of footy.
The final match of the round may not look like a blockbuster on paper, but it sure could turn out to be a cracker! Harley Reid returns from suspension to lead the Eagles’ charge against one of the form teams of the competition in the Hawks.
