Port Adelaide vs Gold Coast Betting Tips
Adelaide Oval, Sunday 26th June, 4.10pm (AEST)
Port Adelaide
Injuries: Zak Butters (out), Brynn Teakle (out), Trent Dumont, Orazio Fantasia, Scott Lycett, Jake Pasini, Josh Sinn
Zak Butters has gone down with another knee injury which will see him miss this week, however Boak, Motlop and McKenzie bring plenty of experience into the side.
Port would be sitting pretty if not for a woeful 0-5 start to the season. As a result, they must work some miracles in the back end of the year to make the top eight. The Power have not been as formidable a proposition as in previous years, however now they are approaching full strength with Charlie Dixon back in the line-up. He is set to form a dynamic duo with Todd Marshall, who has played to his potential in 2022, marking the ball well in the air and slotting goals for fun.
Gold Coast
Injuries: Connor Budarick (out), Joel Jeffrey (out), Wil Powell (out), Josh Corbett, Ben King, Jack Lukosius, Lachie Weller, Bodhi Uwland
It’s been a brutal couple of weeks for Gold Coast on the injury front, firstly losing Lachie Weller before Wil Powell went down with a gruesome ankle injury last week. Joel Jeffrey and Connor Budarick are also out injured for this one.
The Suns are playing with plenty of hope and enthusiasm, and have won four of their last five matches. As a result, they are in finals contention, however it will be an uphill battle to qualify considering the strength of the competition this year. Gold Coast are also running out of talent, missing several of their best players and leaders. A lot is going to hinge on the continued form of Levi Casboult and Mabior Chol up forward, as well as the fitness of core midfielders Touk Miller, Noah Anderson and Matt Rowell, as well as ruckman Jarrod Witts.
Match Prediction
This game pits seemingly evenly matched teams against each other, however I can see a clear winner emerging.
Port have won their last three matches against Gold Coast in convincing fashion, all by 38 points or more.
The home ground advantage will be of significant benefit to the Power, who thrive on a packed house at Adelaide Oval.
Therefore, I’m taking Port at the line.

Dixon has had a successful return so far, kicking five goals in three matches. The big forward has a great history against the Suns and should get plenty of service in this one.
Charlie Dixon 2+ goals ($1.62 at Ladbrokes)
The Suns tend to give away disposals to opposition midfielders and Amon is well poised to take advantage of that. He has hit this mark six times so far in 2022 and, like Dixon, has fantastic history against the Suns.
Karl Amon 25+ disposals ($1.64 at Ladbrokes)
