NBA Betting Tips: Wednesday February 15th
Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks
Fiserv Forum, 11:30am AEDT
Two Eastern Conference contenders will lock horns in the marquee matchup on Wednesday. Unfortunately for the Celtics Jaylen Brown have been ruled out again, while Jayson Tatum has also been listed as very unlikely to play. Needless to say, the Bucks will start as the red-hot favourites.
Tatum has missed three of the Celtics 57 games this season and Brown has missed nine, but this will be the first time they’ve played without both.
The Celtics hit the road in form having won four in a row and six of their last seven games, which has taken them to 41-16 – the best record in the NBA.
Meanwhile, the Bucks are riding a massive 10-game win streak and will be brimming with confidence when they return to their home deck after a perfect three-game road trip.
The Bucks, minus Bobby Portis and the newly-acquired Jae Crowder, are at full-strength and are showing the league why they’re going to be a formidable force in the post-season.
While the Celtics are certainly one of the deeper teams in the league, it’s nearly impossible to fill the void left by the absence of your two best players.
Simply put, the Bucks should be winning this and winning it comfortably.

Orlando Magic at Toronto Raptors
Scotiabank Arena, 11:30pm AEDT
Another pair of Eastern Conference teams will tip-off at 11:30am, with the Magic and the Raptors set to do battle at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
The Magic will be on their second and final game of this mini road-trip and will be looking to head home undefeated. They were too good for the inconsistent Bulls a couple of days ago when holding them to a stingy 91 points.
On the other hand, the Raptors will be seeking another valuable win to continue what’s been a strong fortnight for them. They’ve won four of their last five and are now only four wins below 500.
The Raptors will continue to be without OG Anunoby on Wednesday, but a win would take them to 500 without him this season (currently 6-7), which tells us they aren’t much worse off when he sits.
The Raptors have been a lot better at home (17-13) compared to away (10-18) this campaign and are near full-strength they should be beating teams of the Magic’s quality. I expect them to do just that and cover the spread in a strong performance.
Toronto Raptors -6.5

Sacramento Kings at Phoenix Suns
Footprint Center, 1pm AEDT
The much-improved Kings finished up their two-game homestand and will now head to Phoenix to take on the Suns in a contest between the top two ranked teams in the Pacific Division.
The Kings finally look like they’re going to break their playoff drought this season and it’s been on the back of far more consistency from game-to-game and week-to-week. In fact, since starting the season 0-4, the Kings haven’t lost more than two games in a row.
The Kings have had a clean bill of health for the most part and will only be without Malik Monk and the sparingly used KJ Okpala on Wednesday.
For the Suns, Kevin Durant won’t be making his debut for the team until after the All-Star break. KD continues to rest from an MCL sprain he suffered playing for the Nets a couple of weeks ago.
Devin Booker is back fit and healthy and that’s a huge boost for the Suns winning chances. The Suns are 20-11 when Booker plays and 11-16 when he doesn’t.
With Booker, Chris Paul and DeAndre Ayton all expected to suit up, I expected the Suns to be a lot shorter in the head-to-head market. As long as they get even luck, I see them winning this and covering the small spread.
Phoenix Suns -3
