NBA Betting Tips: Tuesday March 7th 2023
Atlanta Hawks at Miami Heat
Miami-Dade Arena, 11:30am AEDT
Doing battle for the second time in less than a week, the Miami Heat will play hosts to the Atlanta Hawks once again on Tuesday morning.
In their battle on Sunday, it was the Heat who had the upper hand when coming away with a 117-109 win. They led from wire to wire in what was a more comfortable win than the margin suggests.
The Heat have had continued success in this matchup in recent seasons, with wins in seven of their last nine meetings, including six straight on their home deck.
On top of that, their recent win over the Hawks was just their second from their last eight games, which shows they can still get the better of them regardless of their leadup form.
All signs lead towards another win for the Heat and I’ll be backing them in to do that and cover the small spread for 2 units.
Miami Heat -2.5

Toronto Raptors at Denver Nuggets
Ball Arena, 1pm AEDT
The Toronto Raptors will be playing their fifth road game from their last six outings when they travel to altitude on Tuesday to take on the Denver Nuggets.
The Raptors have traded wins and losses in their last four games, but have been solid overall since the beginning of February, registering nine wins from 13 attempts.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets will be looking for more of the same when they suit up in front of their fans. They’ve been nothing short of spectacular at Ball Arena this season, and enter Tuesday’s slate having won 23 of their last 24 games at the venue.
Regardless of the solid the Raptors find themselves in, I still don’t trust them away from home where they’ve won just 12 of their 32 games this season. With that record in mind, it’s even more difficult to imagine they can knock off the best home team in the competition.
Simply put, the Nuggets should be winning this game and winning it comfortably.
Denver Nuggets -7

New Orleans Pelicans at Sacramento Kings
Golden 1 Center
The New Orleans Pelicans are searching for answers for their dismal form and will be hoping they can find them in Sacramento. They’ll make the stopover on Tuesday when they take on the Sacramento Kings.
The Pelicans have lost six of their last eight games as they continue to battle without their superstar, Zion Williamson who will continue to miss with a severe hamstring injury. The Pelicans have a 17-12 record when he plays this season, and are 14-21 when he doesn’t.
In contrast, the Kings are in great form regardless of their recent defeat against the Timberwolves. They’ve been one of the most consistent teams in the league this season, which is certainly something you normally wouldn’t associate with this franchise.
The Kings will be confident they can get back onto the winners list on Tuesday, especially considering the Pelicans have lost 17 straight road games against teams with a positive record.
This is the type of game the Kings have had no trouble winning this season and all the stats and recent form suggests they’ll be able to get the job done again.
Sacramento Kings -5.5
