Chicago Bulls at Philadelphia 76ers

The Bulls are going through their worst slump of the season as they enter Tuesday’s slate on a four-game losing streak. Most recently they went down at home to the Bucks by six points, giving up 112+ points for the fourth straight outing. Despite their current form, the Bulls remain in fourth spot in the East standings and just 3.5 games worse off than the #1 seed in the Heat.
The 76ers had their five-game win streak snapped in their most recent outing against the Heat, largely due to the absence of James Harden and the poor shooting of Joel Embiid. Still, the 76ers remain undefeated with Harden in the line-up and have certainly passed the eye test to date. They enter this clash in second spot in the East and three games behind the Heat.
To say the 76ers have had the better of the Bulls in recent times is a massive understatement. Not only have they won all three meetings with them this season, but they’ve won 10 straight against their Eastern Conference rivals. It’s a streak that we don’t believe will get broken this season, in fact, we expect the 76ers to record another very comfortable win over the Bulls on Tuesday.

Utah Jazz at Dallas Mavericks

The Jazz had Bojan Bogdanovic’s 11 threes to thank for their recent wire-to-wire win over the rebuilding Thunder, which was a necessary way to bounce back from their humiliating 34-point defeat against the Pelicans. That blowout loss seemingly came out of nowhere and was perhaps an anomaly, as the Jazz enter this with wins in 10 of their last 12 games, making them one of the form teams of the competition.
The Mavericks made some savvy trades at the deadline and it’s paying immediate dividends. They enter this slate having won each of their last four and 10 of their last 12 games. Spencer Dinwiddie has made a big difference with his playmaking and shooting ability, complementing stars Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson nicely. The Mavs are now 39-25 on the season and are just four games back from the second seed in the stacked West.
Both teams enter this clash having won 10 of their last 12, which sets up a mouth-watering affair at the American Airlines Center. These teams played each other just over a week ago in Utah when the Jazz came from behind to secure a five-point win, which made it 2-0 in the season series. However, this series now heads to Dallas for the first time where the Mavs have had a lot of success of late. We expect them to get some revenge in this one.

New York Knicks at Sacramento Kings

The Knicks looked on their way to an upset victory in Phoenix the other night, but an ejection to star Julius Randle late in the third quarter saw the momentum swing the way of the Suns who eventually won it at the buzzer. The Knicks didn’t let that disappointing result affect their next game, as they went onto defeat the Clippers emphatically at Crypto.com Arena.
The Kings shook things up at the trade deadline but it hasn’t had any type of positive effect so far. In fact, they haven’t strung back-to-back wins together since early February and enter this clash with losses in six of their last eight games. Needless to say, it’s going to be another wasted season for the Kings who have by far the longest playoff drought of any team in the NBA.
These teams will be meeting for the second and final time this season on Tuesday and it will be the Knicks who’ll be eyeing off a mini series sweep. They thumped the Kings at home by 20 points when they faced around five weeks ago in New York, and while they’ll be the travelling side on this occasion, we still expect them to get the job done at a very nice price.
