We continued our hot form with two more winner from our three spread betting tips on Thursday’s NBA slate. Both the Mavericks and Celtics took care of their weaker opponents in their respective games, but unfortunately the Sixers were unable to replicate their performance from the day prior and fell to the Wizards on the road. We now shift our focus to the rather big Saturday slate and look to keep the ball rolling. Check out our previews and betting tips below, and good luck to everyone following!
NBA Betting Tips Saturday January 12th
Milwaukee Bucks @ Washington Wizards (11am AEDT)
The first game we’re covering from the busy Saturday slate comes from the Eastern Conference match-up between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Washington Wizards. This is the first game between these rivals this season, with a few more to come in the coming weeks.
The Bucks are coming off an impressive away win against James Harden’s Rockets and will look to continue their form when they travel to Washington. The Bucks are currently sitting on top on the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 29-11.
Meanwhile, the Wizards are coming off an impressive win over the Sixers in their most recent outing. They were able to reverse the result against them in the day prior, coming up with enough quality plays early in the piece to put the game away.
The Wizards may be coming off one of their better wins of the season, but they come up against a terrific Bucks side here. They’re outclassed in nearly all facets of the match-up and will find it very difficult to emulate their performance. The Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo have the best overall record in the league, as well as the second best road record. We see them taking this contest by a double figure margin.
Milwaukee Bucks -6.5

Dallas Mavericks @ Minnesota Timberwolves (12pm AEDT)
The second game we’ve had a look at is the Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves game. This is the second match-up between these teams this campaign. The Mavericks won the first in a 140-136 thriller on their home deck.
The Mavericks cleared their spread for us in their most recent game against the Suns, defeating them by 10 points at home. It was yet another big game from rookie sensation Luke Doncic, who led the Mavs with 30 points, six rebounds and five assists. The Mavericks currently sit in second last position with a 19-22 record.
The Timberwolves come into this game with three consecutive wins under their belt, defeating the Magic (120-103), Lakers (108-86) and most recently the Thunder (119-117) on the road. Their hot run has propelled them into 11th position in the West with a 20-21 record.
Despite their decent overall record, the Mavericks have been the worst road team in the league this season with a disgraceful 3-18 record. They now face a red hot Timberwolves team who will fancy their chances to level their season at 21-21. We’re more than happy to back in KAT and the Wolves at a decent line here.
Minnesota Timberwolves -4.5

Chicago Bulls @ Golden State Warriors (2:30pm AEDT)
The third and final game we’re making a play on is the cross-conference duel between the Chicago Bulls and the Golden State Warriors. This is the second and final meeting between these teams this season. The Warriors put on an absolute clinic against the Bulls first time out, thumping them by 25 points on the road.
The Bulls are coming off an away loss against Portland and have now lost five games on the spin. However, Chicago have looked a little better now that Kris Dunn is back in the rotation, contributing with 7 assists and 14 points ppg, while Zach Lavine is also back and enjoying the best form of his career, averaging 23.5 ppg. The Bulls have one of the worst away records in the Eastern Conference sitting on 5-15. Wins away from the United Centre don’t come easy, nor do they come easy at home for the inexperienced Bulls who sit at 10-31.
The Warrior come in off a very easy 27 point win over the Knicks at home in their last outing. They’ve shown signs of their best in recent games, and currently sit at 27-14, which has them second in the Western Conference standings.
The Bulls have had some really tough times against the fire power of the Warriors in recent times and we expect that to continue on Saturday. We see the Bulls as a similar opponent as the Knicks to the Warriors and foresee another huge win at home for the defending champs.
