The 2016-17 EPL season continues this weekend and Manchester City still lead the way despite back-to-back slip ups. You can find out what we are thinking about this weekend's games in our EPL Week 9 Preview and Betting Tips.
Bournemouth vs Tottenham (Saturday 10.30pm AEST)
It was classic Spurs on the weekend. They defeat Manchester City a week earlier in convincing fashion but they can’t back it up with a strong effort to stamp their authority on the league and on the ladder. They were clearly the better side on the day but ultimately they couldn’t find a winner. They will be playing their second match in a row away from home but we are predicting a different result this time around.
Meanwhile Bournemouth scored their biggest win in the Premier League with a 6-1 drubbing of Hull City. It was an absolute field day for the side and it has pushed them up the ladder but we can’t see them repeating that effort, especially against a Spurs side disappointed with their last efforts.

Burnley vs Everton (Sunday 1am AEST)
The Toffees were able to do what we predicted last week and that was grab a draw against title favourites Manchester City. Everton are an inconsistent team but they always seem to have good games in patches and judging on last week’s performance we believe they will be able to get the job done against Burnley.
Romelu Lukaku has been in great goal scoring form all season and we believe he will find his name on the scorer’s sheet this weekend. Burnley fell 3-1 on the road to Southampton and it could be a sign of things to come for the newly promoted team.

Manchester City vs Southampton (Sunday 11.30pm AEST)
City are coming off a loss and a draw in the league and they will be out to get their title campaign back on track. They are notorious for brilliant starts by winning their games but they quickly fall into a slump as they begin to settle. Pep Guardialo will be about to right the ship this weekend as the side has far too much class to be struggling against sides such as Southampton. Kevin de Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and David Silva need to return to their best form and we believe they will earn a comfortable victory this weekend.
After a slow start to the year Southampton has began to capture some form. They are undefeated in their last four games and have earned three victories in those games. However, they face their toughest test this weekend and it will prove too much for them as they suffer the loss late in the second half.

Chelsea vs Manchester United (Monday 2am AEST)
In the final match of the round we are treated with another classic. Manchester United will be facing a tough opponent for the second straight match and they were able to earn a hard-fought draw against Liverpool in their last start. A draw is a fair representation on the match as Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed what everyone would have thought was going to be a goal whilst David de Gea saved the Red Devils with a trademark save.
Chelsea on the other hand were able to earn a massive victory against the defending champions Leicester City. The 3-0 win showed the side has the ability to defend but the three goals were also impressive. However, Chelsea have been notoriously inconsistent for the last season and a half and we are predicting that trend to continue with the Red Devils earning a narrow victory.
