Detroit Red Wings v Chicago Blackhawks
Conference leading Chicago Blackhawks play host to the Detroit Red Wings who are holding onto the second Wild Card position in the East. Patrick Kane has continued his dominating performance of late, leading the league in points (88) are second in goals scored (37).
Detroit will need to get on the board early, as the Hawks have the best Shut Out percentage of any team and haven't lost a game when pushed to a Shoot Out. Chicago will look to boost it's points lead with a win to bring their home ice record to 24-8-2, one of the best in the whole league.
TIP: Chicago to Win @ $1.56 at CrownBet
Edmonton Oilers v Winnipeg Jets
Winnipeg Jet forward Blake Wheeler is having a big impact for his team this season. With 40 assists from 63 games, this gives him a Plus Minus of -1, and the more assists he is producing, the more goals the Jets are putting in the net. They will need to use these stats to their advantage to begin to build a decent run of wins, having only won 2 of their past 10 games in regulation time.
Edmonton's season has lacked consistency this year, struggling to find their fair share of win on the road. Keeping their penalty minutes down (Eric Gryba has 75 minutes in 53 games) should help keep them in the contest. With the Oilers capable of producing an upset on the road, expect scoring to be on the higher end of the scale.
