Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, October 23rd 2024
Race 4: All Too Hard @ Vinery 1000m BM72 – 4:00pm (AEDT)
(2) Dehorned Unicorn $15.00/$3.60: 6YO who resumes today and has been racing in much tougher company previously, including weekend metro meetings. He goes okay fresh and is proven over this trip before. Doesn’t mind a bit of sting out of the ground, so if the track remains soft and doesn’t upgrade, he’s a top hope.
(3) Mabel $17.00/$4.00: 6YO Mare who resumes today and is yet to miss the exacta from 6 attempts when resuming and she is 6 from 13 attempts over the 1000m sprint. Draws a tricky gate, but happy to have with the light weight here and expect her to be storming home. Over the odds?
(8) Pisanello $2.60: 4YO gelding who also resumes today and has shown some class early on. Yet to win first up from 3 attempts, but does come into this off two trials, so can expect the fitness to be there. J-Mac gets into the saddle now and looks the main danger.
(3) Mabel E/W
$17/$4.00 (0.5U/1U)
Race 5: James Squire 1400m BM78 - 4:35pm (AEDT)
(2) Zouatica $6.50/$2.10: Dominant winner over this trip/grade last outing where he set the race tempo and kicked clear down the straight. Adds an extra 2kg now, but can go again.
(4) French Endeavour $3.10: 4YO Mare who won by almost 2L in this class and over this trip last start. Gets another terrific draw and remains at the same weight. Hard to look past again here off that last start performance. J-Mac stays on.
(11) Need Some Luck $5.50: 4YO Gelding who has been well supported in the early market and is knocking on the door for another win with two seconds. Stepping out to 1400m now which is a query, but should be hard fit now.
(4) French Endeavour
$3.10 (2.5 Units)
Race 6: Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale 1300m BM72 – 5:10pm (AEDT)
(3) Spanish Fox $5.50/$2.15: 4YO gelding looking for 4 wins in a row here and he has been dominant in all his past three wins. Back to 1300m now and up in grade, but gets a nice 3kg claim engaged which puts him in nicely. Must be respected.
(4) Hello World $4.20: The fav here who showed a will to win last start where he led and fought off the attacking horses to win. Remains at the same class/trip and should be another good chance if he can overcome the barrier.
(9) Rapbidash $15.00/$3.60: 5YO Mare who I didn’t mind last start, but appeared she maybe lacked a little fitness. Second up now and meets Hello World 2kg better at the weights who is the favourite here. Draws okay and is 2 from 3 over this trip. Happy to be on at the price.
(9) Rapbidash E/W
$15/$3.60 (0.5U/1U)
