NSW Midweek racing heads to Warwick Farm for an eight (8) race card. It appears we will be playing on a wet deck; therefore, all my selections are made for anticipation of a Soft track.
The first race will get underway at 1.15pm ACST, and you can find all of our best racing tips below!
Warwick Farm Racing Tips – Wednesday, March 29th 2023
Race 3: Ranvet BM78 2200m
(3) Made By Khan: Proven at this distance and gets a wet track today which is preferred for us. Ran well last start and now gets the extra 300m on this soft which gives us a great winning chance. Only query is has he been up for too long?
(1) Temple of Artemis: The overseas horse who has run in some tough races. Best work has been done between 2000m – 2500m. May suit here and looks easier on paper.
(3) Made By Khan - Each Way
$9/2.90
Race 4: Precise Air BM72 1600m
(2) Cut On A Dime: Won his maiden and then went straight to Saturday open grade and showed promise. Gets it much easier here and is proven on the wet. Fourth up and can give this a real shake up. Will generally settle near the rear and be running on late.
(6) Denzel: Happy to forgive last start, but two runs prior were excellent. Fourth up today and 1600m seems to be they key distance. Gets a light weight and can play a roll. If he jumps well and can take control of the tempo he will take catching late.
(2) Cut On A Dime - Win
$2.20
Race 5: Furphy BM72 1600m
(10) Miyoshi: Back to midweek grade today and has had a freshen up since the last outing. Beaten by Luvoir LS who has proven to be a good horse who has gone on to win again in harder grade. Getting a nice each way price here and willing to have a small play.
(10) Miyoshi - Each Way
$9/$2.90
Race 8: Vinery Yearlings BM72 1400m
(1) The Empire: Just missed last outing and today gets the extra 100m on the trip. Draws the carpark which is a concern as he likes to be on pace. Will need some luck. Has a 50% strike rate over this distance and appreciates the wet ground. Will be riding for luck, but if he finds a spot midfield or up on the pace we will get a run for the money.
(5) Floating: First up today after a trial last week. He will appreciate the wet deck and draws a nice gate. Rachel King to steer and the market has already plunged. Follow the money?
(2) Le Vizir: Another swimmer who likes it wet. Has only just missed the last two outings and gets a class drop today, but yet to strike over the distance which is a concern and lugs 60kgs today. Weight stops trains in the wet.
