Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, March 5th 2025
Race 4: Pinatubo First Yearlings BM72 – 1000m – 3:30pm (AEDT)
(2) Wondereach $7.50: 5YO Gelding who was racing honestly up until last start. Expecting him to bounce back and goes well over the 1000m sprint. He gets into this race nicely at the weights with Braith Nock claiming 3kg. Draws low and should be around the mark. Goes well.
(4) Admitted $2.00: 3YO Gelding who is 2 from 3 in his career and has trialled nicely leading into this. Both wins have come from a first up run and over the 1000m sprint. He gets pole position and J-Mac is on top. He looks hard to look past for this. Main danger.
(7) Ride The River $6.50: 3YO Gelding who was brave in defeat last start at this track/trip. Fitter again now third up and only gets an extra kilo on his back from last start. Drawn to effect again and will be a top hope.

Race 5: Asahi Super Dry - 1200m - 4:05pm (AEDT)
(2) Desiah $9.50/$2.80: 5YO Mare who has been safely held in both runs this prep, but that has been against much tougher company on Saturday. She is back to midweek racing now and gets back to 1200m which is where she does some of her best work. Fitter now and well rated. Value pick.
(3) Iconic Treasure $6.00/$2.10: 5YO Gelding who was far from disgraced over 100m in this grade first up. He is fitter now second up and boasts a nice record over this trip. 5: 3-0-2. Goes well.
(7) Acappella Sun $4.50: The favourite of the race who was terrific last start at Canberra. Proven third up and loves this trip. Must be considered.

Race 6: Casino Prince @ Vinery Stud BM72 - 2110m – 4:40pm (AEDT)
(2) Mistressofillusion $23/$4.00: 5YO Grey Mare who looks to be one of the roughies of the day. She wasn’t the worst first up with form behind some talented types. She will be fitter for this and looks suited back at Midweek level. Rates well with a 3kg claim on top, draws well and must be considered.
(3) Seven’s $4.20: The French import who was smashed in the market for his Australian Debut run and hit the line nicely, but just ran out of tarmac. Out to 2110m now looks ideal and appears to be the main danger.
(10) Sting In The Tail $3.00: 4YO Mare who has been racing well this campaign and has only been beaten narrowly in her last two outings. Rises an extra 200m now, but gets J-Mac back into the saddle. Deserving another win and looks a top hope.
