Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, 16th 2024
Race 4: Next Inglis Digital Sale Entries Close Wed BM72 2400m – 3:15pm (AEDT)
(4) Ahuriri $3.90: 4YO Mare who SP’d as Favourite last time, but did a few things wrong. J-Mac has decided to stay on and has since trialled nicely. Out to 2400m now and will only be fitter for this run. Should go close here.
(3) Newfoundland $3.30: Dominant winner over this trip and grade last start, but now needs to lug 60.5kg. Will be fitter and can go on with it.
(9) Wagga Wagga $15.00: 6YO who wasn’t all that far away over 2200m two back in this grade before tackling BM78 grade over 2400m which was a little too tough. Back in grade now and can be a blow out hope here.
(4) Ahuriri
$3.90 (1.5 Units)
Race 6: Headwater @ Vinery Stud BM78 1200m - 4:25pm (AEDT)
(1) Raikoke $8.50: 4YO gelding who wasn’t far away last time out against tougher grade. Drops back now and gets a nice 3kg claim which puts him as a live chance at odds.
(3) Elettrica $34.00/$7.50: 6YO Mare who resumes today and gets in nicely in this grade with a 2kg claim. Molly Bourke has a good record when on top and she has trialled well enough leading into this. I think she is over the odds here and will be around the mark.
(12) Fire Star $4.20: 4YO Gelding who flew home last start to score. Only fitter now and an extra 100m will only benefit. Goes well.
(3) Elettrica Each-Way
$34.00/$7.50 (1 Unit)
Race 7: Schweppes BM88 1600m 5:00pm (AEDT)
(1) Tavi Time $2.50: 5YO Gelding who boasts a nice record with 6 wins from 13 starts and gets back into winnable grade now after competing in Saturday class. J-Mac gets into the saddle for the first time and he has a terrific second up record, so expect a bold run here and he will be the one to beat.
(4) Premise $17.00/$3.80: 5YO Mare who gets back onto the dry ground today and is proven third up with a win over this trip. Gets in pretty well at the weights and can be a blow out hope.
(7) Zondee $6.00: 4YO gelding who is hard fit now for this fourth up run and Tyler Schiller gets back into the saddle who is 2 from 2. Draws well and will be a top hope.
(1) Tavi Time
$2.50 (4 Units)
