NBL Round 21 Betting Tips
Perth Wildcats vs Illawarra Hawks
RAC Arena, Friday 7:30pm AEST
The Wildcats have stumbled towards the end of the regular season with just two wins from their last six games despite being at home for all of them. They managed to win their most recent game against the struggling Taipans, but they haven’t been able to beat a top four team since they defeated Melbourne United back in Round 15.
The Hawks had their winning streak snapped at six when they lost their heavyweight battle against the Kings last time out. The Kings required overtime to knock off the Hawks via a 107-102 scoreline, handing them just their second defeat from their last 11 games. Due to their fantastic form, the Hawks look set to finish third in the standings.
The Hawks are the much better form team of the two at the moment and will enter this clash as favourites as a result. On top of that, the Wildcats will be without superstar Vic Law on Friday night after news circulated during the week that he’ll be missing the rest of the season due to an ankle injury. With that said, I’m more than happy to be with the Hawks here.

Tasmania JackJumpers vs Melbourne United
MyState Bank Arena, Saturday 5:30pm AEST
The JackJumpers have done everything in their power to try and make the playoffs in their inaugural season and they still remain a chance. They won both games in Round 20 by less than a combined six points, which made it nine wins from their last 11 games. The JackJumpers must win this final game of the season and hope for the Wildcats to lose both of theirs.
Melbourne United have just about sat atop of the NBL standings since the start of the season and they remain in that spot as we enter the final round. They won both of their home games in Round 20 to extend their current winning run to five, which has all but ensured them top spot on the ladder before embarking on another playoffs campaign.
United won the first ever meeting between these teams at the start of January, but the JackJumpers were able to pull off a big upset in their second meeting in February. United have little to play for in the final round and I expect them to rest some of their stars, which will provide the opportunity for the JackJumpers to finish the regular season on a winning note.

Sydney Kings vs Illawarra Hawks
Qudos Bank Arena, Sunday 3pm AEST
The Kings didn’t get the homecoming they were after when they played against the 36ers at Qudos Bank Arena in Round 20. It was their first home game since Round 14 and it wasn’t a successful one as they went down by eight points, which put an end to their 13-game win streak. The Kings quickly bounced back last time out with a strong win against the Taipans.
As mentioned above, the Hawks lost against the Kings in their only game in Round 20, which snapped their six-game win streak. At the time of writing, they haven’t played their first Round 21 game yet, but they’ve been in great form of late regardless.
The Kings were without Jaylen Adams in their first game in Round 21 and will likely be without him again on Sunday. However, I still think the Kings have enough talent to be able to prove too strong to beat on their home court, especially considering their scarily good form. I like them to cover the small spread here.
