Gosford Racing Tips: Wednesday, April 10th 2024
Race 3: Pluim Group BM78 2100m – 2:00pm (AEST)
(1) Blackcomb $10.00/$2.50: 5YO mare who comes into this fourth up after finishing behind FAWKNER PARK in tougher grade. Looks suited now back in class and will be rock hard fit now for the fourth up run. D.GIBBONS for LEES must be respected and she will be around the mark here.
(2) Rattle And Hum $3.00: 4YO gelding who blitzed them last start for het second up run this prep. Looks a classy type and up to this distance doesn’t look a concern at all. Untested on the slop, but proven on the soft track. Worth thought.
(1) Blackcomb E/W
$10/$2.50 (1 Unit)
Race 5: Central Coast Wedding Fair 14th April BM94 1600m - 3:10pm (AEST)
(4) Gan Teorainn $2.60: 4YO mare who drops back to midweek racing now and looks a solid bet here. Finished 14th LS, but only 3.5L off the winner who was LEKVARTE who is a good horse. Remains at the mile and will only improve second up. Looks easier on paper here and confident it’ll be around the mark. Tommy BERRY for WALLER. Get on.
(7) Street Gossip $3.70: This mare has struggled with her two runs this prep, but gets back in class slightly now where she can be competitive. Early market support is good and she is 1 from 1 on the heavy deck with 2 wins over this trip. Worth thought with the market support.
(4) Gan Teorainn
$2.60 (3 Units)
Race 7: The Coast Raceday 11th May BM72 1200m 4:20pm (AEST)
(1) Cecil Street Lad $10/$3.30: 5YO gelding who looks well weighted here with a 3kg claim. Roper is no slouch as an apprentice either. Won well last start in 68 grade lugging 60kg, up in class now, but only carries 58.5kg here. Proven over this trip and will only be fitter for this 3rd up run. Draws a nice gate and expect him to be going close again.
(6) Biographer $4.20: 4YO gelding who loves this track and performs well third up. Drops back to 72 grade her and has been smashed in the early market $8 in. Fitter now and worth thought.
(1) Cecil Street Lad E/W
$10/$3.30 (1 Unit)
