All In Betting Markets - Saturday October 26th 2024
G2 Drummond Golf Vase - Moonee Valley, Saturday Oct 26
Politely Dun holds sway in betting at $4 after a strong last start maiden win at Ballarat. He sits alongside stablemate Red Aces, a late scratching from the Caulfield Classic on the weekend. Henlein is a half point further back but I dare say will run in the Spring Champion at Randwick. The value could be 11 start maiden Vianarra, who was an eye catcher in the Caulfield Guineas, which traditionally is the right form for this race.
G2 Fillies Classic - Moonee Valley, Saturday Oct 26
Declichy Boulevard stifles the market at $1.70 to get back into the winners list after placing at Stakes level her past two. She looks to have found a thin race hence the market. Shockletz is on the second line of betting, ahead of Double Market at $9. The next line is $11, held by Lady Sadler, Foreverintime and Brulante.
G2 Crystal Mile - Moonee Valley, Saturday Oct 26
We have equal favourites for the Crystal Mile, with the traders suggesting the Toorak could be the right form reference. It is $5 each of two, with Another Wil alongside Desert Lightning. Plenty Of Ammo was scratched from Caulfield and sits at $6 on the next line of betting, ahead of UK import Royal Champion at $8, who was good at Flemington in his Australian debut.
Also Backing: Royal Champion ($8)
Avoid: Desert Lightning
G3 Tesio Stakes - Moonee Valley, Saturday Oct 26
The race for the Mares looks open and the market reflects that. Firestorm, who was okay in the Epsom, is the $5 favourite. Lady Jones is on the second line of betting, alongside Private Legacy, who did touch $6.50. Little Mix and Wishlor Lass sit at $8 and are rock solid.
Also Backing: Firestorm ($5)
Avoid: Lady Jones
G1 Spring Champion Stakes - Randwick, Saturday Oct 26
Swiftfalcon was the real eye catcher in the Gloaming and should appreciate a rise to 2000m. He sits as favourite at $2.80. El Castello, winner of the Gloaming, sits on the second line of betting at $4.50, alongside Henlein. Harlem Queen brings the Flight Stakes form and is next best at $6.
G2 The Invitation - Randwick, Saturday Oct 26
Sharp first up winner Olentia heads the market to make it 2/2 this time in. She sits as favourite at $2.80 ahead of a class runner, Zougotcha at $3.50, who was scratched from the King Charles lll. Magic Time won the race last year and is at $4.50. Makarena has had admirers at odds, into $12 from $17.
