The Dragons returned to winning form last week against the Knights but to put that victory into perspective, they were hardly facing a quality opponent. Sure, the Knights defeated the Roosters in Round 1 this season, but it was a vastly different team. The Roosters did what was needed to capture a 22-14 win over the Warriors. They have won 4 out of 6 but are yet to produce anything special; they are still building but their winning performances will add to their confidence.
The Roosters have been successful over the Dragons 4 out of the past 5 fixtures held on ANZAC Day and have won 9 of the last 10 against the Dragons. Unfortunately for the home team, they look unable to cause an upset this time around. There is an unconvincing edge to the Roosters at this stage of the season. Then again, these are the games that a team like them should be able to win. As much as the Dragons will be motivated ahead of this clash, so too will the Roosters. It might be far closer than expected though and that invest appears to be the way to go.

The form of the Storm is something be admired. They easily accounted for the Sharks last week after appearing to be pressured early. They were in a different class altogether and prevailed comfortably 34-18. The Warriors were competitive for stages against the Roosters but like the Storm, were in a different class to their opponents; unfortunately for them, it was a lower one as they suffered defeat. They look outclassed here as the Storm continue to roll along with their strong momentum. The Warriors will put up a fight, but it will only count for so much.
The Storm have several gears to go through and the Warriors look unable to match them. It should be a comfortable win for the home team and the issue becomes deciding on the margin of victory. One area the Storm appear to have excelled in compared to most other teams is their attack. Munster was at his dynamic best last week and is well complimented by the ‘other’ attacking weapons in this team. It could get ugly for the Warriors if they’re not careful.
