NBA Betting Tips: Wednesday, 23rd of March
Atlanta Hawks at New York Knicks

The Hawks have had a couple of losses against similar ranked teams over the past week, going down to both the Hornets and the Pelicans. This has seen them fall out of contention for a top six spot, which means they’ll now almost certainly be taking part in the Play-In Tournament. Trae Young has been in fantastic form over his last five games, averaging 30 points and over 10 assists.
The Knicks have tried their best to go on a run to give themselves a chance of a top 10 finish, but three losses in their last five games is going to make it very difficult. In their defence, each of those losses were against very strong opposition, with their most recent defeat coming at the hands of the Jazz who have been on a fantastic run of late.
The Knicks have thrice gotten revenge for last season’s first round playoff loss to the Hawks, defeating them by nine, 14, and nine points in that order. They have home court advantage on their side for their fourth and final meetings and also have the added motivation of this being a do or die clash. With that said, I’m happy to be on them to get the chocolates once again.

Chicago Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks

The Bulls were strong winners in their most recent outing against the Raptors, solving them by 14 points in Chicago. It’s just yet another win against opposition they’re expected to beat, but it’s the games where they face the elite competition where they always seem to fail. Regardless, it’s been a strong season for the Bulls who will be gearing up for a big playoff run.
The Bucks haven’t quite been in the form they’d like to be in as we approach the finish line of the regular season. They enter this clash having lost two of their last four games, both of which defeats were by at least a dozen points. Thankfully, the Bucks return home for this clash on Wednesday where they have amassed a strong 24-12 record.
As mentioned above, the Bulls have been poor against the elite teams this season and the Bucks are no exception. They’ve suffered defeat in both of their meetings to date despite leading at three-quarter-time in each instance. It’s hard to see this season-long trend ending on Wednesday, which means I’ll be siding with the defending champs in this one.
Los Angeles Clippers at Denver Nuggets
Ball Arena, 1pm AEDT
The Clippers red-hot form from a couple of weeks ago has well and truly faded away, as they enter this slate having lost six of their last eight games. Their most recent defeat was their worst of all as well, with the Jazz punishing them by 29 points. Due to their recent struggles, the Clippers are now glued to eighth spot in the West with a 36-37 record.
The Nuggets have also been on the wrong end of some lopsided score lines in recent games, losing two of their last five games by 12+ points. In their defence, both of those losses were against good quality teams and the Nuggets have been extremely shorthanded. Regardless, they still occupy sixth spot in the West but have the Timberwolves hot on their hammer.
Just 0.5 games currently separated the Nuggets from the Timberwolves in seventh spot in the West, which means these last few weeks are absolutely crucial for their season. I expect them to be playing with really high intensity against the Clippers on Monday and as a result, will be on them to cover the small spread on their home deck.
