The Bombers will be hunting a spot in the top eight while the Suns will only be playing for pride on the weekend, but it is sure to be a solid clash with plenty of young talent on display for both sides.

How good were the Bombers on the weekend? They went in as big underdogs against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium and recorded a season defining win as big Peter Wright booted seven goals. The win moves them into 9th place in the AFL, trailing the Giants by just two points, and with a healthy advantage in percentage points over the three other teams tied for ninth, the Bombers are a great chance to sneak into the eight.
What’s particularly advantageous for the Bombers is the fact that they round out the season with two really winnable games against the Suns and Magpies. If they win those two and the Giants drop one of their games against Richmond or Carlton, the Bombers will get a chance to break the 16-year drought without a finals win.
The Suns bounced back from a three-game losing streak on the weekend with a brilliant win over the Blues by 19 points. Touk Miller was fantastic once again, racking up 34 touches and two goals while Noah Anderson and Will Powell offered good support in the midfield.
It’s been an up and down season marred by injuries for the Suns this year but some impressive wins late in the year have added a glimmer of hope for fans and for the future of coach Stuart Dew. They currently sit in 14th place but could drop as low as 17th, so they might not have the upmost desire to win these last two games.
The Dons start as favourites and should have the extra advantage given this one will be played in Victoria down at GMHBA Stadium. They have so much to play for a with a top eight spot on the line, look for them to win this one comfortably.

Love me some Zach Merrett here. The star midfielder has had 30+ disposals in six of his last seven games including a monster 41 touch against the Demons. When he last faced the Suns, he had 30 touches.
Touk Miller has been one of the standout midfielders in the league this season. He has had 30+ disposals in his last 14 straight games and 15/19 this season.
Big two metre Peter has been fantastic over the last few months, culminating in a monster 7 goal game against the Dogs on the weekend. Since Round 8, he has booted multiple goals in 7/11 games.
