Esports Betting Tips: Monday, June 28th
Team Fiend vs. EXTREMUM
Spring Sweet Spring 3
Team Fiend should be entering this match in good spirits. They have managed to win 74% of their matches across the last three months, which helped them climb to the rank of the #23 best team in the world. On the other end, EXTREMUM managed to put together a much worse 58% win and are now ranked no.25 in the world rankings.
These two teams met only once so far, back at Spring Sweet Spring 1 at the end of April. EXTREMUM won the match with a clean 2-0 victory; 16-7 on Inferno, and 116-13 on Train. Joakim 'jkaem' Myrbostad and Hansel 'BnTeT' Ferdinand were their best players on the day with 42 and 38 frags and 1.31 and 1.29 HLTV ratings respectively. EXTREMUM made no roster changes since then, while Fiend lost Martin 'mar' Kuymdjiev to Budapest Five and replaced him with Deyvid 'h4rn' Benchev from BLUEJAYS.
This match feels like a complete coin toss. I don't believe Team Fiend should be priced as low as they are right now; it is beyond reasonable. EXTREMUM might not be in the best form, but some of it has to do with the lack of motivation.
EXTREMUM seem like they don't like online tournaments, and it doesn't help that they aren't getting a chance to play in proper tier-1 tournaments either. Skill-wise, EXTREMUM are way ahead of Fiend, and all they really need is a good start to get things going. Value bet on EXTREMUM!
Nemiga vs Natus Vincere
StarLadder CIS RMR 2021
Nemiga and Natus Vincere met just once before. Their last and only head-to-head clash happened just two days ago during WePlay! Clutch Island, where Natus Vincere barely managed to come out ahead with 2-1.
Nemiga opened the series with a dominant display on Inferno, winning the first map 16-11 without any real issues. NaVi took the second map 22-20 on Dust2, but the game went into two OTs, and considering the fragging talent NaVi poses, they shouldn't be playing such close games and instead be banging teams like Nemiga out of the server, especially on maps like Dust2.
Anyway, they managed to tie the series, and in the end, that is all that matters. The last map was Nuke, which again extended into overtime. Natus Vincere squeezed past Nemiga with 19-16 to win the series in what was another map that was way too close for comfort.
After such a display, Nemiga should be pumped to avenge their loss on Monday, and taking at least a map off shaky Natus Vincere should not be that much of an issue, especially if players like Anton 'speed4k' Titov and Igor 'lollipop21k' Solodkov have a good game.
There is a solid chance we might see an upset, but let's not test the fate and take Nemiga with a head start! Value bet on Nemiga to keep it close!
Anonymo Esports vs 1WIN
Spring Sweet Spring 3
Anonymo Esports and 1WIN met about ten days ago in Spring Sweet Spring 2 Regionals when Anonymo came out ahead with a 2-1 victory. 1WIN managed to win the opening map (19-17 on Dust2), but Anonymo struck back with a dominant 16-4 victory on Nuke to level the score.
Anonymo carried over the momentum to the last map (Mirage), which they won with 16-13. Janusz 'Snax' Pogorzelski seemed like he found his old form, contributed 74 frags, and ended the match with a 1.40 HLTV rating. On the side of 1WIN, Aleksandr 'glowiing' Matsievich was the only member with a standout performance; 70 frags and 1.31 HLTV rating.
Neither of these two teams are in good form right now. Anonymo managed a relatively poor 48% win rate in the last three months, but it is worth noting that they lost only once in their last five, which is probably the reason why they are the favourites today. 1WIN, on the other end, managed to win almost 60% of their match since May and lost just two in the last five matches. That includes a win against EXTREMUM.
I expect a close match as I don't really see much difference between these two teams skill-wise. Bet on over 2.5 maps!
