Greyhound Racing Tips: Monday, May 11th
Albion Park Race 4 – 7:45pm AEST
Expecting early box speed from (1) Whippy Midget and (2) Sweet Talking. No wins and four placings from nine attempts over track and distance doesn’t read that well for Sweet Talking, but I think this could be a suitable race for her. She is down in grade which should see her break a run of unplaced efforts. She has an almost identical best time for track and distance as Whippy Midget. Sweet Talking prefers the 395m here, however, she should go close in this event.
Albion Park Race 5 – 8:04pm AEST
Box one looks great for (1) Chief Fernando who won three starts ago in 30.21 from box three. He should have the speed to lead early and will appreciate not having boxes eight and six which have seen him finish last and second-last respectively at his past two. (5) Amaretto Hayze looks to be right in this as does (6) Blue Diva. Hopefully Chief Fernando can lead or settle second at worst because he won’t want to be giving a few of his rivals a head start in the race.
Albion Park Race 8 – 9:01pm AEST
(3) Kimm’s Choice looks ready to win after a pair of seconds at Capalaba and Albion Park. She is a quick beginner and should have a decent change of crossing emergency runner (10) Spotted Wolf who moves into box one. Kimm’s Choice recorded a track and distance personal best last week with her 30.36 when beaten 1.5L by Kingsbrae Clarky. She has won nine of 22 career starts with seven runner-up performances and should be hardest to beat in this field.
Northam Race 4 – 5:04pm AEST
The inside two greyhounds appeal the most in this race. (1) Daisy Eyes and (3) Pure Pesh look the top two chances in the race. Pure Pesh has only had one start over track and distance; he is a 16.15 Cannington 275m winner in this class. Box three has been good for this dog who is one win and two placings from three starts. Expect him to go close. Daisy Eyes is the main danger.
